So disappointed with this service- 2019 I had to ring about appointment for a very serious referral from my GP, if I didn’t ring I’m not sure when they would have allocated me an appointment. Once again 2021, sent a referral letter in by myself and my surgeon sent a separate email. 10 days letter I phone up to find out why they haven’t contacted me. They can’t find any of these emails. Even though I got an acknowledgment email.
When I phone up it will be 24-48 before I hear back. This is another serious diagnosis scan referral I am waiting for. I’m just not sure why we bother paying for health insurance or these private services.
So disappointed.

Referral was sent by my doctor back in September. I rang two days ago to see why I still hadn't been given a date. Was told that they were confused about what I needed scanned, so instead of calling my doctor or myself for clarification, they did nothing at all. Important scan to be done and still haven't heard back, despite being told I'd get a call back two days ago to give me a date. Would be giving 2 stars but I have had good experiences here before. Perhaps quality of service has fallen since then for some reason.

Staff are polite and informative on the phone but to be honest doubts are setting in about the efficiency and speed of this service. Especially with worrying symptoms.

Referral for scans sent by GP last Thursday and staff member this morning says turnaround time about a week, said sorry for incorrect turnaround given by other staff. Other staff had said 2-3 days max.

Paying insurance for peanuts every month if this is the case. Highly likely going to smaller private clinic could get you an appointment faster than this place.

I attended the clinic in Dundrum for a head MRI and found all of the staff extremely efficient and professional. My appointment was punctual and I was given individual assistance the whole way. Post the appointment I was again pleased with the modern service of the affidea app showing my images and scan report uploaded after a number of hours. Very modern and professional service.

My elderly mother needed an MRI scan here and the staff were so lovely. From the moment we arrived, they put her at ease, allowed me to wait with her and assist her with the paperwork. This was her first time out of the house (due to Cocooning and the safety measures in place were very visable and good). She said they were great when they brought her down for the scan and put her mind completely at rest. Her doctor had the results within 48 hours. Fantastic service, lovely staff, hopefully we wont need to visit again but would have no hesitation in using Affidea Dundrum again.

Had an mri done 2 weeks ago when finished i asked the lady for the disc she said i didn't need it only if i was to see a surgeon,( how do you no till you get results) anyway she wouldn't give it to me! So now i do have to see a surgeon and have no disc i rang and asked could it be posted out they said no i would have to collect it, im over an hours drive away, have 3 small kids at home and would have to get someone to bring me up, i must have got a cranky old one on the day because my brother in law was up last week he got his disc no problem. I had mri in Tallaght last year and was given disc when leaving!

I would like to thank Affidea for giving my GP a report so promptly. It made all the difference as it arrived before I was due to leave the country and it put my mind at rest.
A big appreciation also to the staff on the day who were kind, courteous and helpful.

4 customer car parking spaces. Dreadful administration and communication. Scan process itself was fine. Customer service via phone terrible. 1 week later and still haven't got the results of my MRI

From the initial phone conversation to walking out of Affidea Dundrum I found the staff friendly, diligent and most helpful. The swift and professional care given was excellent with next to no waiting times. I highly recommend Affidea.

I cannot understand why this place has such bad reviews. From my initial booking online, my conversation with the lovely Christina and a follow up confirmation phone call, my scheduled on time scan, I found everyone very pleasant and efficient to deal with. Would have no problems returning or recommending.

I can highly recommend them. Very efficient on the phone. Got a Sunday appointment, which suited me best. Was recommended to park in Dundrum shopping centre and got parking fee back after spending 30 EUR in Tescos. Very friendly staff at Affidea reception and in treatment centre. Consultants and professional staff were very polite and re-assuring. Experience was made as positive as possible. Also patients waiting area is spacious and nicely decorated. And you get free coffee through a vending machine which I have never ever seen before in a patients waiting room. :) A big thumbs up and keep up the good work. Kornelia

A very efficient and highly professional service! Prompt adherence to appointment time. Access to free coffee/tea in waiting area. Shared use of Luas Car Park beneath Rockfield Centre. Pleasant and helpful staff.

Very efficient and Helpful . Parking is underground. There is a coffee machine in the waiting room. The dundrum luas stop is only a short walk from Affidea.
