November 17 stay 2nights.
Fantastic Hotel and that is not overstated.
The staff are very welcoming and friendly crew. Its perfectly clean and warm throughout with a bar menu and also Resteraunt menu.
Let me tell you the food is to die for
Fantastic chef and fresh produce made both bar food and Resteraunt food equally perfection.
I have stayed in many hotels throughout the years and this is easily the most enjoyable by a clear mile. It will bring me back to Killarney which is also a very nice town with all big branded shops as well as the quaintDelight for the tourist's..
Love the carvery lunches here . You get plenty of nice food at good price.
This hotel is now called 'Hotel Killarney'. The street view here is out of date, there is no 'Heights Hotel' anymore.
Stayed here for two nights in August 2017. The hotel is basic, nothing special and not really worthy of three stars. There fridge or air con in the room and the walk from the room down to the lobby area was very long and confusing. Took us a while to find our room initially.
The buffet breakfast was good with all the usual options available and staff were very helpful.
There is usually no parking in the front area of the hotel but they let you park around the back. There was live entertainment on Friday and Saturday but its only about a 20 minute walk into the town so better to head in there.
If you're looking for a daily stay and want to keep the kids entertained you will not go wrong here. Jam packed with stuff for the kids to do. To name a few, there was bubble football, an indoor jungle-gym style place, outdoor karting, crazy golf, a pool with inflatables on particular days and an inflatable bungee run. There was also a sizeable teen area with bean bags, games machines and pool tables where your teen offspring can go to get away from the parents. Food was great. Breakfast was self service and offered excellent range. Staff were excellent. Will be back.
We had a great stay. Rooms are very spacious. White linen on the beds. Bathroom en-suite. Breakfast is buffet style, with lots of options (pancakes for kids) and was very good. Although we don't have kids think this is ideal for families as they have an indoor pool/games room/activities for children. 3 min drive from the hustle and bustle of the town centre (good night's sleep without loud bars till 2am). Will definitely stay here again for future travel.
Lovely place. Only downside was finding our room. Too far from reception, corridor after corridor n lift to 4th floor only from certain areas. Food a definite plus. Nicely served, good helpings, very good price. Great staff.
We were very impressed with Hotel Killarney. The family rooms were very large and comfortable and the staff were extremely helpful. The facilities were excellent with a large, well-equipped pool and crazy golf course. Breakfasts were extremely good. It's a large hotel on the outskirts and well located for the surrounding area.
Great place to stay. The rooms were just okay, but just fine, and the rest of the hotel was great! Ask the staff were so friendly and the breakfast was amazing.
I thought it was great. I was filming a wedding there. The staff were really helpful and professional ..and nice. I also ate in the restaurant. It was very tasty.
Old type hotel rooms shabby bathroom dirty needs a total face liftThe staff or fabulous very helpful
Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Good breakfast, which is included.
Was overcharged by 30+ euros for a room with a view of a wall and pile of beer kegs even though hundreds of other rooms were availible in the hotel, room provided no shampoo or conditioner. Generally disappointing.
Great location, friendly staff, but the bed was not great.
Hotel Killarney is a nice hotel with great food and live music every night. It's about a 15 minute walk to the city centre. One problem I had was the room was way to far from reception like 2 elevators and 5 long corridors just to reception and where the pub was to. Overall it was a likeable hotel. I would rate it 4 out of 5 stars
