The setting is very nice. The food is very good. We stayed at tge lodge. It is in a building near the entrance to the site, 2-3 minutes walk from the main buiding (the castle) were breakfast is served. The room was very spacious and quite comfortable.

Sorry so late wit this but at my nephews wedding with Ye in July
We were debating here in Dublin about the best fillet of beef we ever had over a few beers
The beef I got at that was the best ever.

Gorgeous grounds, lovely sitting rooms, suites fit for royalty, and the best breakfast we had out of 8 days of B&Bs. Joe was especially helpful in showing us around!

Overall it was great friendly service, the bar had great service and food as well.However it had very poor service in the breakfast dining area the day we were there, it took forever to get seated and the poor people waiting behind us waited a long time and weren't even acknowledged by the waitresses. I still gave it 4 stars due to the rest of the staff there was great.

I loved my stay at Ballyseede! Great staff, beautiful rooms and grounds, and central location for exploring the area. I highly recommend at least one night here. The bartender ordered our taxi to Tralee and took great care of us. My next trip to Ireland will definitely include another stay here.

Could not have asked for better service! The staff was always available and their food was fabulous. The only downside is that their wifi is very weak.

We stayed in the castle tower room in early May. We felt like royalty. Everyone was gracious and friendly. We especially enjoyed the small pub where we visited with many locals and enjoyed Einstein, the on site dog. Highly recommend.

Stayed on a Thursday night. Staff was able to accommodate our late arrival and early luggage delivery. Spacious room. Quiet. Beautifully decorated. In room heaters can be used if chilly. Amazingly comfortable bed. Breakfast was delicious. Our servers were delightful. One allowed us to peek at the wedding ceremony room.

Stunning to see upon arrival. Beautiful room, we stayed in the French Room. Friendly staff and free tour of the castle detailed history of the family who owned it up to the current owners. Delicous breakfast included. Amanda and I look forward to staying here again next year. 100% love this place.
