Very nice. With very friendly and helpful staff
Fantastic value, we stayed at room number 4 :) a beautiful luxurirous room with private balcony & seating area overlooking garden & river :) best food , b&b looks like a luxury hotel . Staff were fantastic:) we got comlementry coffee & biscuits on arrival . It's spotlessly clean . We will definitely be going back there again :) we loved it :)
Decent location off the main tourist areas with easy access to the Ring of Kerry and a reasonable price point. B&B is appointed with heavily lacquered antique furniture, so if that's your style you will find it to be quite beautiful. The breakfast is stellar and customizable with the dining room overlooking a peaceful river. Our room was large, beds were comfortable enough, and the bathroom had been recently renovated. Several reviewers on the hotel booking site mentioned room temperature issues and we experienced this, too: our room was quite toasty and we were unable to make any adjustments - no fans or windows to open. Also, the downstairs sitting area is locked at night so there's not a common area for late night reading. There are chairs in the rooms, but they're antique and therefore more visual than functional and not where you want to curl up with a good book. Overall it's a nice enough space but given the other options in Killarney I will probably stay elsewhere next time around.
This B&B has comfy accommodations and the friendliest people! We wish we could have stayed more than one night. I would highly recommend.
We had an excellent stay at Crystal Springs B&B. The owner was so welcoming and helpful to us, and the breakfast service was wonderful each morning. I liked that you had a daily menu to pick from in addition to a buffet with yogurt, bread, cereal, etc. The rooms were large, very clean, and very comfortable. The first morning I woke up to two horses grazing right outside our window. We were walking distance (~20 minutes) to Killarney but could also drive in. I highly recommend this place and would stay here again!
Loved it
The location is just awesome and truly romantic on the riverside. The rooms are big, tidy, and clean. The owners are nice and keen to answer your questions. Free parking is available, and the city is at max 30 min on foot through the fields. 4 stars only because card payment is only accepted for 99€ up!
Lovely persons, directly at the river. Delicios breakfast. Lovely decoration and infrastructure.
We stayed at Crystal Springs for three nights recently, and I have to say that it was, hands down, my favorite stay of our trip in Ireland. Eileen made us feel completely pampered and right at home. From the beginning, she greeted us with lots of information about the Killarney area along with maps and restaurant recommendations, although it was such a pretty area that we actually opted to get groceries one night and enjoy our dinner out on the lawn along the creek. The entire house was absolutely beautiful and made a person feel very fancy. The breakfast we were provided with was amazing! I had the pancakes with the lemon syrup, which were very good, but the oatmeal porridge with Bailey’s cream liquor and brown sugar was to die for. I actually wish I could go back to Ireland just to have another serving. Eileen's team and their service was, in my opinion, second to none!
Our family -- nine adults in all -- just returned from a wonderful vacation in Ireland, and the vacation was made really special by the Brosnans, whose Crystal Springs B and B is, in a word, outstanding. The rooms are large and comfortable, the food excellent and beautifully presented, and the hospitality second to none!
