Like a time warp from the 70s. Great place for a pint and a chat. No background music/TV, just the best pint of Guinness around town, and a toasted cheese sandwich if you want.

Great spot in the city centre. Keeps quite a traditional feel with a lot of more modern bars / pubs around the area. Cash only has caught me out a few times.

Nice atmosphere, great location for people watching in the covered outdoor seating area. Great buzz there on a busy afternoon. Nice friendly bar staff also. Guinness is very nice indeed. They even have device chargers behind the bar that you can borrow! Top spot.

Genuine Dublin pub which hasn't changed since 1970s, a bit like the regulars inside. Decent choice of drinks on tap and the Guinness was good. Staff were friendly also. The bog wasn't clean and there was no way I would even dream of having a number 2 in the place. My wife refused to use the ladies. Couldn't find it in the 1st place and judging the decor she didn't expect it to be too fancy. Limited food options but this place isn't trying to be a gastropub. Like I said it serves decent pints. Just use McDonald's in Grafton Street for the a number 2 before you visit.

Home of one of the best pints of Guinness in Dublin. That's Grogan's main selling point - that and the atmosphere. All other facilities and services, from the bathroom & furniture to the staff, are fairly below standard.

A rare old fashioned pub in the heart of Dublin. Good beer, good atmosphere and a great place to hang out and watch the world go by! (Could do with card payments options - cash only is taking "old fashioned" too far!)

Great bar with a bustling, friendly atmosphere. Excellent, no non-sense bar staff serve up some of the best Guinness in Dublin. Don't forget to try the renowned cheese toasties.

This is as bit of a dive and off the beaten path. We still love it and come back to see what's on the walls everytime we are in town. It is definitely worth a visit any time you're in Dublin.

One of the most authentic pubs out there that is frequented by Dubliners as well! The rather small space makes for a cosy atmosphere and a lot of interaction with the other guests. Definitely recommended!

Great Place! Lovely Pub in local atmosphere. Had a pint and a tasty ham sandwich. Very small cozy chairs and beautiful artworks on the wall.

Have been here a good few times over the years. It is one of my highest recommendations for tourists to Dublin, I just love the atmosphere, the unfussy decor and the real staff. Had the pleasure of stopping here recently with 3 of my best friends. We enjoyed their homemade toasties and Guinness. This really is a unique and wonderful bar in our fair old city. A hidden gem.
