A true Mecca for Father Ted fans the world over. What more can I say about this place? A wonderful experience. The owners are welcoming and full of facts and their own memories of the days when Father Ted was filmed there. I've waited many years to visit this place, and finally being able to do so has merely strengthened my love for the sitcom and for Ireland as a whole

To go in to the house you need to make an appointment which i would recommend. But you are free to take photos of the house from the gate.
The roads to the house arnt the best so take it slow

A must do for any father ted fan i went in for tea and probably a little expensive for a cup of tea. I kinda expected a little more i know its a family house but would have liked to see less things from the family and more father ted things. The picthre outside would be enough.

The Day we got there we couldn't get in due to a private party but still great to visit the only downside we were all on Motorcycles and the roads to the house are mostly gravel tracks so not for inexperienced riders

    Amazing!! Would highly recommend!
We attended father Teds house for tea. Booking in advance is essential and don't be worried if you don't receive an email/text back straight away! You will get one but give yourself plenty of time! We didn't know what to expect when we arrived at the house but it was a great experience and I would definitely go back! We were greeted with lovely cakes and tea and plenty of it! There was also props to take pictures. The family still lives in the house and they were very friendly and kind! The house is only open to those who book which is totally understandable, after all this is they're home! They do allow you to take pictures outside the gate If you haven't booked which is also a nice experience!!

Great to see the actual house where the shows were filmed. Didn't see inside and woman who answered the door to us was extremely unfriendly. Never received a response to my email either

No tours are available to view the inside of the house. You must remain outside the gates. There is no problem taking photos, and the local "Ted tours" is a great option for fan's of the show

Great visit to Father Teds house. Booked in for tea and homemade scones, there was also gluten free options. This is a family home which they allow access by forward booking only.
