My partner and I had a wonderful dinner at the hotel main restaurant as we were advised by the locals as the best food in town and they were certainly right.
The food was unbelievably tasty, good service, friendly staff, nice and elegant and good atmosphere.

Incredible hotel with friendly staff! We arrived a little early but they were able to check us in. They offer free parking, which is a huge plus in Ennis! The room was nicely decorated and it had the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in! The hotel has a pub attached and it offers great food and live Irish traditional music. We were able to easily walk around town and see a ton of lovely sites. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend the Old Ground House to anyone.

Stayed 1 night, lovely rooms, very clean, very friendly staff, beautiful hotel.
I heard the food is beautiful are very reasonable, only had breakfast though, lots of choices, great menu.
But some of my friends told me that early on sunday morning the radiators started to shake and make a lot of noise for a couple of hour.response / report this review -

Iv never Stayed here, so I can't comment on that, but parking can be difficult as car park is often full. I have Been here a few times to eat, the bar food is very good as is the food in the resteraunt. Iv always enjoyed my meal, and would highly recommend it. The bar is always busy and very popular with tourists too.

Quaint but clean. Great location around numerous pubs (Brogan's was really fun). The Poet's Corner hotel restaurant had excellent food and atmosphere, playing live traditional music while we were there. I didn't eat breakfast there but I heard very good things. Overall, I strongly recommend Old Ground.

The hotel staff was amazing. We had issues with the plumbing. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. It was a great stay as it was in the heart of Ennis and near all the shops and bars.

The owners are very friendly and very attentive to those staying at Old Ground Hotel. The breakfast are served hot to order with plenty of side cereals, bread, fruit, and drinks. Very clean and with the feeling of being at home. You are in walking distance to downtown Dingle. I would highly recommend a visit.

Booked a table at short notice in the main restaurant - the three course set menu had plenty of choice, the food was excellent and there was plenty of it. Staff were very helpful dealing with the kids in our group and getting their meals right. Excellent value for money too - would definitely recommend.

As always we had a wonderful break at this hotel from the moment you arrive the most amazing staff each and everyone of them make you feel so welcome the food is excellent and the rooms are beautiful and so comfortably.

Always a great session on here Sunday nights. The live music is some of the best in Ireland. The hotel isn't bad service is very friendly and the restaurant is good, but needs a bit of an update. As always I'd like to see a better fitness center kettle bells exercise balls in the rowing machine go along way and don't cost that much.
