Great hotel with extremely friendly staff. Everything was as stated. Highly suggest if staying in Ennis.

Disappointing. When I book an executive room with an extra large double bed I do not expect a standard room with a bed not much bigger than a std double. There was nothing executive about the room at all. I also asked for a quiet room. Not only was this not quiet it was the total opposite. It overlooked the square and footpath below making it really noisy from people below through until about 3am. Then some sort of fan started up outside after. It was awful. So not executive and certainly not quiet. Used by hen nights and party groups out in the centre of Ennis. Over priced by a big margin for what it delivered.

This is a lovely building for a hotel. The staff are really friendly, rooms are comfortable and clean, really nice breakfast and its a great location, right in the town! And there's plenty of parking.

I ate in the bar with a big group. We were well looked after and the food was great. Suitable for children.

Nice hotel which looks very luxurious, but has it's shortcomings.
Good beds, bureau, chairs etc all present in the room.
But the rooms have little extra space, so 2 suitcases give a space problem.
The toilet is placed in such a way that you often get the washing sink in your side.

John Madden runs a first rate hotel. Spent 10 wonderful days here last year. This year it felt like coming home. Thanks for making us part of your family.
