Top class hotel in a top class location looking out over the wild atlantic ocean. The staff and management here are second to none. You will not regret staying at this hotel.

Ambience: The room was immaculate and tranquil, overlooking the ocean - sunset was just the cherry on top.
Staff: Incredible service. When asking the front desk for transportation advice, a staff member, Tony, overheard and offered us a ride the following morning as he was heading that direction. Above and beyond the call of duty, and a shining exemplar of the customer service at the Armada. The pub staff was also extremely pleasant.
Food: delicious food at Johnny Burke's with a great environment and generous portions. Service was phenomenal. The breakfast buffet included every item fathomable and the quality was great; immense appreciation for the attention to detail.

Fantastic view of the rolling Atlantic. Really lovely friendly efficient staff. Different bars to explore. Great food. Good craic and overall lovely even a friendly dog to talk to.

Greate food and music. The only thing we didn't like was the partition in the pub that didn't let us enjoy properly the life music and there aren't enough stools.

Great hotel on the water. The staff was very quick to help us with anything we needed. The views you can get from this place are definitely worth the stay.

Beautiful location. Noisy Room above pub. Party in pub lasted until 3:30 am, literally. Poor restaurant service. Butter wrapper found in salad informed waiter, no apology. No water pressure in shower. Charged in US dollars for meal when specifically asked for transaction to be in Euros. Overall, bad experience. Location was only plus of the 2 night stay. I would not stay again at this hotel.

I think this place is great, unusually good selection of beers and whisky, good food. The main bar is cosy and comfortable, complete with turf fire. Staff are excellent and friendly. It is a short walk from the beach and on a sunny day there are several outdoor areas to sit. Only down side is that it is a popular wedding venue so can get packed

Nice modern hotel with amazing views. Even when the weather isn't good it's great to sit and watch the amazing Atlantic waves breaking against the shore.
There's a great carvery lunch at the weekends and the the food from the main restaurant and bar are excellent.
It's also a great wedding location. The staff are superb in making the day as easy a possible.
The only thing missing is a gym but you can have a nice walk on by the sea instead.response / report this review
