Food was really excellent, staff where friendly.

But the wait was very long, staff obviously ran off their feet.

A full hour after ordering i found my self eating my rather tasty main course with a tea spoon as we still had not received our knives and falks.

Im going to try it again in the hope that it was just a unusually busy day. The food is worth giving it another go.

Very outdated hotel. The sink in the bathroom has two faucets, one hot, one cold. The rooms do not have any AC, and are deadly hot during the day when the sun was coming in the windows. They did provide a little plug in fan, but it did not help with anything other than circulating the hot air. The staff was pleasant, housekeeping was great, food options "ok".

We had a pleasant 5 night stay at the west county, it was reasonably priced and the staff were pleasant. The hotel is very clean and well run and the leisure centre while being slightly dated is also clean and staffed by courteous people. The music in the bar is good however we felt the bar staff were too young. That while most were capable they should have an expierienced overseer. I had to ask for my pint of Guinness to settle for more than 10 seconds before being topped off and when I did the girl in question became very snappy which I put down to inexperience. We will return again to the west county.

Amazing hotel with the perfect Irish feel. The bar and restaurant were excellent as well as the staff. Free WiFi, upgraded amenities, and fast access to downtown. It's a wonderful place to stay.

Great experience. Staff are friendly, the bar is good craic, there's a cafe with lovely coffee & the pool is a bonus. Will return.

Went to the cageteria for cup of coffee yesterday.
All that was on the menu was sandwiches which were nameless and of very poor quality .
I had to ask the waitress for a plate to put them on and a tray to carry them as there were none available.
When I went to sit down there was no table that had been cleaned xcept one which I eventually found.
Honestly it was like a pig house.
If this is on the Irish tourist list its a disgrace and huge let down for the people of Ennis.
This used to be a place you would enjoy coming to. Now its a place you would do well to avoid.

Clean rooms but a bit dated. Friendly service. Breakfast is entirely self service, even tea or coffee, so you burn off the calories walking back and forth to serving area. Entertainment in the bar on the Saturday night we stayed was a Country and Western band which seemed popular with the locals.

CHECKED OUT AT 3 AM: PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU VALUE YOUR NIGHT’S SLEEP!!! Our room was situated near the main road of the hotel. We didn't get any sleep as the noise of people drinking, shouting and smoking outside the main door. The racket then started in the corridor and rooms adjoining us. Drunken young kids ran riot up and down the corridors shouting and screeching. At 3 am we couldn't take any more and checked out arriving home at 5 am. We expected a call from the Manager and are still waiting! Never again would we be caught in TREACY’S WEST COUNTY HOTEL, ENNIS, CO. CLARE.
