First 5 Star hotel and I enjoyed it. It had a lot to offer and the rooms mini bar was amazing as well as the guys there to greet you were fabulous.

Wow, this place was simply amazing. I got to enjoy some truly unique experiences while here. If you've got the time, do the Hawk Walk! You won't regret it! The service was impeccable, the room was spacious and beautiful. I've been singing Dromoland's praises to anyone who will listen!

I often bring friends visiting Ireland there and they all loved the little trip there. Amazing Park and lake, jawdropping decoration in the castle - it is just beautiful. We always enjoy our little tea there, delicious soups, mains and desserts all served with silverware. Wow Thank you for making us princes and princesses for an hour or so.

Location was amazing and the views were spectacular! Played golf and the golf course was beautiful. The staff was very helpful with getting me a tee time early, golf club rental and cart!

We stayed at Dromoland the day we arrived in Ireland from a trans-Atlantic flight, and we couldn't ask for a better experience. The hotel grounds and rooms are immaculate. Everyone from the valet, concierge, bartenders and servers provided excellent and professional service which added to the overall experience. The hotel's attention to detail created a once in a lifetime experience. The next time we visit Ireland, we will definitely stay here again!

We arrived in Ireland at about four o'clock in the morning and our first stop was to Dromoland Castle where we would stay. My family and long-time family friends were all traveling together for a total of twelve of us. Upon arrival to the castle the staff didn't really know what to do with us, because our rooms were not ready. We were jet lagged, but because of the hour we had arrived there was not much we could do. The staff gave us a parlor to wait in and took our luggage.
At six o'clock they came to take us in the dining area for breakfast and served us without a hitch. The food was lovely, and the dining area was pretty and quiet. In the afternoon we all went on the Pony Trap ride around the grounds. This is something I will recommend if you are staying at Dromoland. Sean the guide and his horse Patty were phenomenal. The tour around the grounds in the trap gives you the real 'Irish feel' while giving you insight to history of the hotel and some Irish humor that kept us laughing. Dromoland had beautiful grounds and trails to go for a walk and stretch your legs. When we finally got into our rooms they were nice and clean, but nothing that took your breath away.

On our way back out of Ireland we stayed at Dromoland for a second night, and the staff again didn't have our rooms ready which disappointed us. If I had to stay somewhere in Ireland again, or recommend somewhere to stay to a friend I would choose Ashford Castle over Dromoland.

Amazing 5 star castle hotel. The staff were super friendly, helpful and accommodating. We were treated like royalty and shown superb Irish hospitality. We were in a large room in the tower and had beautiful views over the estate. The food at the Earl of Thomond restaurant was delectable! Dennis and the waiting staff were outstanding the entire night. We definitely recommend the Dromoland and hope to come back some day!
