Good location, great garden and spa with good massages… And bonus: when you book massage or spa services you are welcome to use their pool and garden for the day!

Old but nice resort
Located at Jl. Penestanan, Ubud. Although the hotel quite old and wear out, still have a nice surrounding. You can feel the relaxing atmosphere. The pool still nice but need renovation, landscape very green and beautiful. The resort location was perfect, a lot of restaurant and cafe nearby, central Ubud quite far if you walk, so hired a scooter or a car will be nice. The resort had a parking lot for a car or scooter..
The room is big and complete with serious furniture like an old resort used to be, works fine but lack of design. Bathroom big too, complete with bathtub etc. Don't expect everything work perfect.I think it's fair enough compared to the hotel's rates. They have a small restaurant with a simple menu and the staff will happily served you with a smile and full hospitality, nice one! They have spa too.
Overall, this resort was old but nice, good location, very good service and affordable priceresponse / report this review -

Stayed for 12 nights and everything was just great. Good room, beautiful garden, always smiling and helpful staff. Manager Dewa Yoga, what a cool guy! Great location if you want to be out of busy busy town centre which is 2 minutes away by scooter. Nice restaurants around. Ubud and Y Resort in our hearts forever!

Located in ubud, y resort is great to relax. Staff is super awesome and courteous. You get complimentery breakfast and afternoon tea during your stay. Welcome kit includes one time foot massage. What more you expect in low priced resort. Will surely go back!!

Great boutique resort, great pool and breakfast sets you up for the day. Staff very attentive. Will return to this well positioned resort which is close enough to walk to ubud centre or offers free shuttle bus.

I stayed with a friend in a double bed room. the room was very clean and the bed is very comfortable! there were 2 or 3 ants running around but come on we are in Bali. There is hot shower and a fan in the room and also a fridge.
The pool was very refreshing and it is also very quiet in the resort. They also offering massages - soooo good!
The stuff was sooo friendly and tried their best to help us. I felt really comfortable in the y resort.
It is only a 10 minute walk to the city center ubud and the resort is also offering a free shuttle bus to the city center if the people - like us - are too lazy to walk haha like
Right next to the resort are a lot of good restaurants and shops. Also on the opposite of the resort there is a place where you can make a batik workshop.
I can highly recommend the y resort :)

Great decor but pretty mediocre when it comes to cleanliness. They don't take out the trash for you when they clean the room.
Staff are extremely unhelpful including the manager. They just want your money and customer-first IS NOT A THING. They protect their employees and don't trust the customers.
Also, don't even bother asking them about the city - they can't even name the attractions, they can only "describe" what's there, which is absolutely useless. The manager was talking about a gallery for 15mins and all we wanted was a name so we could look it up, he went "I forgot the name but it's close". Thanks?response / report this review -

Stayed 2 nights here at the Y resort. The bed was to firm for my liking. The room was clean. The location wasn't ideal for getting around easily. The resort was not really in walking distance to any resturant. There was a lovely establishment a door or two down from the Y Resort that I enjoyed sitting in on the Open Mic session, but other than that, nothing was really close by. Since I had stayed at a few other resorts in Ubud, I wouldn't suggest this resort based on its location and cost.
