After a horrendous hotel experience in seminyak, we were anxious moving into Puri bunga. I have to admit though, right from the very moment we checked in, it was an amazing experience. The staff is very friendly and understanding. The hotel managers Cia and Joy are exceptional with their hospitality and do not leave a single stone unturned when it came to making us feel comfortable. On arrival we were greeted with a welcome drink and the room was ready even though we arrived an hour before checkin time. The resort offers breath taking views of the the mountains, rice fields and the sound of the river ayung flowing is another cherry on the top. The room itself is comfortable, the air conditioning is top notch. The bathroom is literally as big as the room with a natural theme to it, with several plants and natural light. The dinning area looks over the river and is a romantic spot for dinners. Just to mention the staff's effort over obligation, the staff managed to get some breakfast ready for us as early as 6 am, well before the restaurant opening time, while we were heading out for an early morning tour. The staff also arranged a small surprise birthday celebration with music and pizzas for me, entirely complementary. Every time you see any of them, you will be greeted with a warm smile. If I were to come back to Ubud, Puri Bunga would be my first choice.

Beautiful view, nice and clean room. good service. unfortunately we are here while the pool with hill and Ayung river view is under maintenance. But other things are fantastic. Last but not least, Free snacks!

Lovely accommodation, very polite and helpful staff. We enjoyed our stay at the resort although in one of the rooms our 2 friends occupied, the toilet bowl was leaking, some furniture was broken and so was the TV. Request to have things sorted was prompt although not as efficient.

There were 6 of us and only 4 were able to connect to the WiFi with no issues. The two of us however received little assistance with connectivity.

The resort offered breakfast each morning which was below mediocre. Often we did not eat because there were very few options that were unimpressive. It would have been much more appreciated had the resort offered a better variety that contained less carbs. Although breakfast options are subjective, perhaps this could be something for the resort to look into improving when catering for tourists.

When it came to making recommendations for sites to see and how much a taxi would cost from one point to another, the resort workers were incredible. They ensured that our experience in and around Ubud was one to remember.

The rooms are huge. The view from the room is amazing. Hot water is always available. The staff accommodated a request for early check-in due to flight delays. The response via email for check-in was quick.
The value for money is unbeatable. Would certainly recommend this resort!

The environment is beautiful with great views. To get to your room, you have to use a lot of stairs in this hilly surroundings. The room itself is good with a lot of space and a big bathroom. For its price, one of the best hotels you can get.

One of the more pleasant accommodation around the area for the price range. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Location on Google maps is inaccurate and should be further up Jl. Kedawatan, next to kapukapu hotel. View is great overlooking the ayun river.
