I was not stay in this hotel and came for a conference at one of various conference room in the Swissbel Hotel. The room was narrow for 20 participants, the aircondition was too cold, the snacks and lunch were average in taste, some of those were poor. The mall that located in the same building were closed due to a mismanagement that makes the hotel guest must go out for shopping or lunch and dinner outside

Ceiling terrible. No towel, need to ask first. Sink broken. No facial tissue.

Room was hot as the AC was broken. Called to complain, the handyman came with no solution. Requested Room Change took too long. New Room was as bad as the first one. Had to walk from parking lot to lobby under rain.

They had a good view towards the bay area of Balikpapan but the place is a little bit haunting empty with not many customers coming to spend their time there. The services are good but the parking lot are less

Near Balikpapan Mall just a few step away. A very nice sea view room and pool area. Breakfast is okey. But Wifi not speed & good enough.

The food was good, there were many great selection of breakfast and each was satisfying. But the restaurant was small and uncomfortable, as almost no space between tables.
Room was standard, clean and nice enough. Pricey if it's on the weekend. Minor problem was, a little hard to adjust the water temperature.
Pool was okay, too. Unfortunately the bathroom was poor, not a hook in sight to hang our belongings. One of the shower stall was broken too (of the female bathroom). If I had to stay again I'd like to come back for the food and room but not the pool.response / report this review -

Very nice room, got one with seaside view. Hotel located a short walk from Plaza Balikpapan. Breakfast selections are excellent, even better than Aston Balikpapan (look for various honey).

Very good hotel with swimming pool. Located on sea beach of Balikpapan city. The hotel was comfortable, neat and so clean provided with cable TV and free wifi. They provides also with coffee shop and bar
The breakfast was delicious amazing!! Staffs was friendly

it was just ok. the menu was standard, and maybe because the surrounding was under maintenance, made it kinda boring place to visit. i stayed there for 4 nights, and enjoyed the view

My another favorit chain hotel.
A bit uncomfort due to located on a Mall under construction, and no commerce activity yet.
But once the construction is done, and the superblock activity is arised, this hotel will be a favorite place to stay in the Balikpapan city.

They have decent room and decent food, nothing special. I don't really like the way they clean the room actually, it's not completely clean like they didn't wash the stirrer bar, they didn't refill the face tissue, they only give one toothbrush, they didn't restock the soap bar

A hotel by the sea. Okay hotel but what make it uncomfortable is the empty mall connected to this hotel. Big compound and feel deserted. Weary walls start to appear. I stay here one year ago and the condition has deteriorated quickly.
