Is really for upper class. Breakfast is expensive. Vehicle is really needed due to distance between buildings are within a golf course. Swimming pool is the best. Apartment room is clean but has frozen up fridge & ye olde ancient pre hostoric 20 inch CRT TV. Microwaves and tiny kitchens with diningwares.

Unbelievably beautiful resort and surrounding area. If your a golfer it's a great course but if you just want to get away it is also great. The coastline is a Kodak moment and walking to the temple and tanalot is a good experience. Rooms are very comfortable especially the rooms on the golf course side of resort . They have full sliding doors to open up on the ocean and golf course .breathtaking.

Very delicious in-room dining, but wifi is quite bad and the auto switch-off lights to save electricity system works against me sometimes. TV was also blur. But overall great stay!

Fantastic location right on West coast sea front. Food great & staff excellent. Will close for 2-3 years at end of July 2017. Trump Resorts will completely demolish & rebuild. Very sad - 1,100 dedicated staff will be out of work! We probably will never return due to new higher cost structure for wealthy clientele!!

Friendly staff, clean well appointed rooms in stunning location and wonderfully manicured gardens. The bathrooms are quite modern and beds very comfortable. The free transport to nearby Tanoh Lot is fantastic along with a shuttle service to Seminyak, Kuta or Ubud also available.
The 4 tier pools are not only cleverly thought out but the water slides are a great resource too. It is very easy to have adults and children in the same poolside area and still feel they are not in your space.
It is such a shame that the amazing, challenging, and world ranked golf course built with so much care and consideration for the location, the surroundings and lifestyle is going to be flattened right when it has matured into the Sharks vision.

Resort is very good, however it is closing at the end of July so Mr. Trump can demolish the resort and build a new one. An awful lot of staff will be out of work and the waiste from the demolition immeasurable.

It's kinda faaaar away from the city, and it'll take you a while to get to the city from this hotel. But, really, the view is absolutely breathtaking!!! It's worth it. And the Nirwana Golf Club, you should totally give it a try.

Awesome place for any kind of crowd. This span across 6-7 mile and has golf course. This place very near to tanha lot temple. We been here for honeymoon and enjoyed a lot. There private villas are very luxurious.

There's nothing wrong, per se. The problem is that with so many excellent hotels in Bali any flaws are exacerbated. For instance, there is a daily cocktail "party" held behind the fitness centre. It offers cocktails that are very strong but nothing like they are meant to be like; the martinis have a lemon slice and are cloudy while the mojito is somehow Brown and sweet. At the same time the location is as far from the main hotel as possible. Almost as though they want us out of sight.
The restaurants offer a wide range of meals that look outstanding and yet they seldom deliver they taste that they promise. Which is a real pity because 5-star hotels in Nusa Dua, Seminyak, Ubud or Kuta have managed to master the combination of visual appeal and taste.
The actual amenities, the pools, grounds, views, buildings and staff, are excellent. However, the resort suffers, perhaps from a lack of competition. With no other major hotels this close to Tanah Lot there is probably no incentive to improve the quality of the food. If the management could make those changes this would be a truly 5-star resort.

Update: 4 days into a 9 day stay.
Things have improved. The cocktails are still out back but they are quite a social event. More food could be on offer. However, there's enough for people who are quick.
The food is still adequate, mostly, except the Driftwood restaurant where the food is much better than anywhere else on the complex. Great taste and magnificent portion size.

Beautiful view! BUT, quite awful service. Although I understand I am not in an English speaking country, I found it very hard to communicate with the staff past a 20 phrase English book. This resulted in many incorrect food orders and other frustrating hassles.
The communication was not always bad, but the service was consistently terrible. Someone I know has their period on their bed, and the sheets weren't changed, and the mattress was just flipped over. My dirty cups were not cleaned, and the bathrooms were mouldy.
    Very disappointing!
They have captured a beautiful and holy spot in Bali, and seem to have not captured the spirit of service that this beautiful country is known so well for.

Only stopped by for a drink and a massage. The massage was excellent. The drink and views from the open air bar are stunning with views of an ancient "floating temple" in the distance.

Most helpful staff. An amazing place with great views. Close to Tanah Lot Temple and there is a free shuttle service into Seminyak and Kuta. The rooms were clean and spacious and the pools were picturesque.

It is far away from Seminyak and Kuta (about an hour away) which is where most people stay and shop, and where the restaurants and bars are. Family friendly.

The best thing about the place is the view.
When order food on the Pool side it takes time and arrives cold. Most of all it's much way over prices.:(
