Good new hotel. Located closed to china town in jakarta. You can find heritage building located in the same area. Closed to the area you can find a lot of chinese interesting food, as well as market where you can find cheap.seafood. one of the buddhist temple also located in here

Enjoyed the meal so much! The special thing is many food is cooked by our order.. For instance, mie kangkung, tongseng daging, and etc.. The taste of that food is good because fresh and we can order special things like more spicy or less salt..
Simple thing is the towel.. I like that Towel cause wide, soft, and warm..
I like interior DESIGN in room of Novotel Gajahmada!
The location of Novotel Gajahmada is the central of city We can go to glodok, petak sembilan easily..

Neat and tidy. Glodok and Mangga Besar are on walking distance. Culinary heaven and historical destination are near. The room service was a bit slow on response but they did what's asked nicely. The staff were polite and nice. There's an old Chinese style house at the center of the hotel location. It's beautiful. The pool is a bit small but good enough for playing. A small Koi pond is a nice touch to the space. The view from higher floor was very pretty, planes were in queue to land with a sea of lights under.

There is a historical Chinese building below the hotel. Quite nice atmosphere around the historical Chinese building, you can enjoy vary Chinese food / BBQ grilled with beer. Chill your days!

This hotel is located at a very strategic location. It has many public vehicle access. In front of it is transjakarta bus station. 5 minutes away, you can go to Kota tua / China Town by it and visit many tourist site. You can also use the commuter line at Jakarta Kota station to travel almost the whole of Jakarta. This hotel also preserved Chandra Naya National Heritage.

Hi. Stayed in Novotel Jakarta from the 30th november to the 4th december. Had a very pleasant experience especially with their staff who were very helpfull. Especially Mr. Sudiro who helped with suggestions for our stay. I visit Jakarta frequently. I will definately stay in Novotel again.

Good: Very clean, modern, helpful personnel, decent breakfast.
Bad: Room-service (VERY low quality, only 2-3 dishes available, cash only?), no water a few times a day hot or cold.

I conducted workshop with my office Education International and stayed at Novotel Gajahmada in jkt for 6 days for workshop from 9-14 July.

I met Mr Ihsan, F & B manager at Novotel Hotel Gajahmada. He is d nicest F&B manager I've ever met, he always smile & greet people at the restaurant. When he knows that am crazy with ice cube and ice tea. Everyday he offers me ice tea with bunch of ice cubes and even sent the ice tea & bucket of ice cubes to my room.really feel like I'm a VIP guest.

Thank you Mr Ihsan, you really made my days during my stressfull training for 6 days.your sweet gesture by sending ice tea with bucket of ice cubes are really thoughtfull.

And I Love d hotel front gate as you will find beautiful chinese temple of Jakarta heritage called Chandra Naya temple. On d evening u can even hang out at several coffe shop there and taste a little china.

No frills. Businessmen hotel. Has decent gym but lack maintenance. Much cheaper than staying in city. There's a convenience store just outside and some restaurants beside giving you choices apart from hotel food.

Located in the Chinatown of Jakarta, many eateries are on the walkibg distance, less than 15 min walking. In the middle of the hotel and apartment, there is Chandranaya building, which used to belong to Kapitan (Chinese captain) of Batavia. Hotel is quite new and well maintained.

This Novotel Hotel is better much than Novotel Mangga Dua. The room is big enough and the hospitality of staffs is good, but when i and family spend time in here we just regret about the vegetable that they serve everyday is not in good condition. i had told the manager about the vegetable but the next day i still found the same case the vegetable still serve with bad ingridients.. please pay attention when you eat vegetable in this hotel. Thanks..

Stayed here once, found the room layout was a bit weird. Good things: nearby supermarket, 7-Eleven, and some pretty good restaurants downstair (such as Kopi Oey).

A good hotel. Room was clean and had a good view over the city. Other amenities were according to standard as well. The hotel is not really a walking distance close to any sightseeing areas, however, there's a small supermarket just next to the hotel, which can be very helpful.
