I returned this year to Meno Dream resort after July 2012. The island itself developed tremendeusly. If 2012 was still a quiet getaway now its completly different. Resort after resort every step you take.
But Meno Dream resort still impressed me a lot. Like the island, the resort also developed enormously. They even started to build a swiming pool, which is kind of funny, because the see is 2 min away. But i guess people are to lazy to walk for 2 min and prefer to lay in the pool with their phones and surfing the internet and watch TV on their holliday :)
Made the owner is still the nicest person i have ever met. Like in 2012 when i wrote positive things about his cookingit only got better. Best cousine on the island. The rooms are still imaculate clean and even brighter than before.
Staff is doing the best they can to make you feel the best as possibile.
Hope the resort stays like it is and doesnt go to much mainstream, because it can lose its charm of i quiet getaway.

Well maintained resort, beautiful landscape. Very nice and helpful people. I love the outdoor restroom concept. Recommended resort for your private moment.
Too bad, our night was spent with the party noise from Gili Trawangan 😔

Meno Dram Resort is the best choice on Gili Meno, special, unique, with positive energy, that is why I go there each single time when I visit Indonesia.
Every time I had different bungalow. Rooms are very clean and quiet. Bathrooms are so special.
Made and Berni are the best hosts, food is delicius, especialy Made's breakfast - omlet or pancake.
The beach is max 5 min. away.
Keep on doing like this and I wish you all the best and hope to be back soon :-) Mirja

After trekking 10 min from the ferry to the opposite end of the island with luggage in the heat we finally arrive to the bungalows. They looked cute & we were served a welcome drink so we thought we'd be alright. As we're waiting, we find out there is no WiFi in the bungalows, only the "restaurant" & no tv in the room we booked. We aren't super attached to WiFi/tv but it was clearly advertised on Agoda that we'd have it. After finally getting settled in a bungalow we laid in the bed because my husband had fever & was sick. At this point we discover that the bed felt wet. They said it is from fragrance they spray but it was pretty wet. We take a nap anyway in the poorly ac'd room to then wake up to the power going out. I step outside to tell them thinking it was maybe just our unit & was informed that it was the island. (The water was also out so no shower to cool down) I ask about lunch but am told that the cook is not available at the moment. They sent me around the corner to another restaurant. Needless to say, we canceled our stay here & found another bungalow that suited our needs better and had running water and power although "the whole island" was out.

It was so wonderfull! The room was amazing en the shower is enormeous. The couple that runs it, is so nice. They were just the sweetest people. Also it was quiet en we were surrounded by Palm trees.

We had the Starroom. The room was clean and very nice view at the stars in the night . The owner and the employees are very polite and helpfull. I can recommend that hotel to everyone!

Super sympas. Le personnel est au petit soins à tel point que le patron qui cuisine merveilleusement nous a fait sa spécialité rien que pour nous ! Chicken betutu. Un régale. Il ne manque qu'un petit bassin pour recevoir 5 étoiles.

Meno Dream, ein Traum, indem wir uns wie Zuhause fühlten. Ein wunderschönes Resort mit Liebe aufgebaut und dekoriert. Die Bungalows bieten ausreichend Platz und sind ausgesprochen sauber. Zu jedem Bungalow ist ein "Outside-Bathroom" vorhanden. Wunderschön verziert - alles natürlich.
Der Eigentümer, Made, ist ein sehr herzlicher und offener Mensch, der gerne und jederzeit mit einem Lächeln Fragen beantwortet und unfassbare Gerichte zaubert.
Unsere Bekannte hat sich leider am Bein verletzt und Made half umgehend mit natürlichen Hilfsmitteln. Am nächsten Tag war wie durch ein Wunder alles verheilt.
Auch die Crew ist unglaublich zuvorkommend, hilfsbereit und freundlich. Es hat jedes Mal Spaß gemacht nach "Hause" zu kommen.
Wir werden diese Zeit niemals vergessen und wünschen dir Made, alles Gute und viel Erfolg für deine Zukunft.

Only 3 minutes from one of best snorkel spot in Gili meno. Nice cozy and relax style bungalow. Best Chocolate banana pancake breakfast ever. Owner and staff are so kind and helpfull. You can borrow bicycle free to get around the Meno island. Definitely I will be back again soon!!

Più che un resort è come stare a casa di un parente. Madé che è il proprietario ti fa sentire suo ospite. Non aspettatevi il classico resort pieno di comfort. Il dream resort rispecchia esattamente l'animo dell'isola gili meno. Un posto isolato e tranquillo. Nelle stanze fatte di legno e paglia, non troverete TV ne frigo. Ma tanto silenzio. Però un po' vivrete a stretto contatto con la natura.
A cena si mangia quello che cucina Madé,ma lo fa divinamente bene. Si trova a circa due minuti dalla spiaggia e circa dieci minuti dalla spiaggia dall'altra parte dell'isola. La prima volta è un po difficile da trovare. Ma ci sono i carrettini che possono accompagnarvi.

Sind hier auf einer Durchreise durch die Insel. Das Appartement ist sehr idyllischalles was man braucht ist vorhanden ( AC, Dusche)Made, der Besitzer, ist sehr nett, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Diese Unterkunft kann ich nur jedem weiter empfehlen.
