A nice little glamping spot tucked away in the middle of all the commotions. Reasonably priced and the service is exceptional. The staff seemed happy and engaging. My only complaint is the AC. It's not as powerful as you'd hope, but the fan is satisfactory as a supplement.

a very unique place to stay,we call it glamping (glamour camping). they have aircon and also a fan. a nice pool with floaties. the staffs are super friendly. their food is superb. full video preview on my youtube

I didn't stay at La Cocoteraie but stayed in a villa nearby. Every morning, I would pop by with my computer and enjoy Lombok coffee, fresh juice, and speedy internet for a few hours. The staff that work there are genuinely kind - and the ambiance is both peaceful and productive. I really loved spending my mornings here :) thank you to all of the good people at La Cocoteraie!

what a wonderful place to stay. buddy on reception is so sweet and helpful. it’s on the quieter side of the island only a couple minutes bike ride away from the beach. bikes are included when you stay here. the pool is nice with lots of spots to relax. there’s a few choices for breakfast which is great and you order the night before. the tents themselves are gorgeous with air conditioning. the bathroom and shower is chic. if you get a horse and carriage to the place don’t pay more than 100k. would most definitely recommended and stay again.

Incredibly friendly staff. Breakfast amazing. They thought of every little thing in the rooms. If you're going to pay a little extra for a night, this is so much better and more unique than staying in a resort.

Perfect holiday. Nice to have bikes included. Awesome glamping tents. Amazing service. Great breakfast. We loved the fresh juices and happy hour too. Peaceful pool.

We LOVED this place! The staff are extremely friendly and offer everything you could possibly need during a stay on the island. The tents are definitely luxurious and very eco friendly. The complimentary bicycles were a huge bonus (they come with padlocks and lights - great for getting around the island at night). The site is clean, cozy and relaxing. Only wished we could have stayed for longer.

I had an amazing stay at La Cocoteraie.
Upon your arrival you will be stunned by the warmest welcome ever. Over the whole stay the staff have been more than helpful.
For those of you who aren’t familiar with Gili, La Cocoteraie is located outside of the (way too much) animated area (around the harbour) but easily reachable by bikes (they’re free of use, what a nice attention!). Most importantly the hotel is 500m away from the most beautiful beaches (snorkelling equipment is also free of use!) where you will enjoy the sunset every day.
I have read comments from customers who complain about irrelevant stuff: too much light (come on it’s a tent), having to use the AC in an ecolodge (well, feel free not to turn it on!), and having a dump nearby. Please consider that waste management is a huge challenge for a small island that gets so many dirty tourists everyday! The challenge is bigger than just buying a recycling bin from HomeBase!
If you speak with Nath who owns La Cocoteraie, you’ll see how committed she is to the cause and how she helps make Gili Trawangan a liveable island.
I will visit the Gili Islands again, and will definitely book at La Cocoteraie again!response / report this review -

Un havre de paix !! Séjour de 5jours absolument fantastique, tout est magnifique et nous avons eu un accueil tres chaleureux. Le staff est particulièrement souriant et d'une gentillesse incroyable. La gérante Nathalie est vraiment sympa et très investie pour l'écologie de l'île.
Nous avons choisi la Cocoteraie pour son emplacement calme et pour le concept original. C'est vraiment une réussite , le logement est décoré avec gôut, rien à dire sur la propreté des lieux et la literie. Nous avons très bien dormi. Le petit déjeuner et le restaurant un régal ! Je conseille le thé glacé et les samoussas aux légumes un délice !
La bonne surprise , la Cocoteraie nous a mis à disposition gratuitement des vélos et masque/tuba pour le snorckling : Vraiment top !
Tout est pensé dans le moindre détail pour que nous nous sentions bien ! Un tres bon rapport qualité prix par rapport à certains autres logements de l'île.

When I decided to book a stay in Gili Trawangan for a few days, I was a little confused because of the huge number of hotels. But I already knew I wanted something different for my holidays, something original with a different kind of style,while keeping a certain level of comfort. When I arrived, I directly knew that I have made the right choice.
The location, a little further from the front beach, provide a more quite place very close to the sunset (300 m).
The tents, very clean and well organized with an open bathroom, beach towel and air conditionning.
The staff, friendly and helpful in a great atmosphere.
The restaurant, I hightly recommand it, an experienced chef who proposes the best dessert of the island.
