Stayed at Kamuela at the end of a trip to really relax & unwind & this was the perfect place to do that. The villa was perfect with its own pool & the gardens were gorgeous. The staff are what really makes this place, so sweet & doing everything they can to make sure you have the best stay. The location is also great for anyone looking for a quieter bali but still with many great restaurants around. We will deinitely be back!!!

The room was very big and clean. However, the room didn't smell fresh at arrival.
But it was all clean.
The shower was big and clean also, but the shower head should need replacement by already a longtime ago.

Service was excellent. The staff were amazing. Our villa had water damage on the ceiling and it leaked around the door between the bedroom and bathroom. The outdoor shower was nice but leaked when it rained and became muddy. When cleaning the room sometimes glasses were left behind. Overall the villa was tired and needed a major makeover. The bed was comfortable and the turn down surface was very welcome. Can’t fault the staff and their dedication.

We were so lucky to book one of the big suites on Agoda for a very good price for one night. The suite , the bed, jacuzzi, bathroom and living space everything is big. Bigger than the standard Indonesian hotels here in Sanur. Location is great, everything is in walking distance. Nice Breakfast was included. Service and hospitality are also very good. We would really recommend a stay here!
Reading the other reviews: yes you have to look down when you walk in the room or bathroom, sure sometimes fruit can be tasteless. But this is Asia.
After traveling for 2 months, for us this was the best place.

I didn't really like the room. Unnecessarily large and too much wasted space. The bathroom wasn't great. Odd small step that I'd stub my foot. The faucet barely reached the massive sink and would splash all over the counter top as you washed your hands.

We were only there for the night and didn't really get to see the property, unfortunately. The pool looked really nice as well as the lobby. The location is pretty good. In the middle of a long street with lots of shops and restaurants.

The staff drove us to the airport in the morning, which was nice.

Overall, fairly decent but wasn't or favorite.

Lovely boutique property with restaurant onsite plus good size pool, only a short walk or bike ride away from Sanur beach. Lovely team of staff, where nothing was too much trouble! Delicious breakfasts, pizzas yummy and relaxing spa facility available - so very peaceful, even walking through gardens. Highly recommended!

We hired a pool villa at Kamuela Villa's Sanur. Beautiful villa's and a nice pool. Also a very own cocktailbar at your villa. The breakfast is also nice and the pool is also nice. The resort is very small but i like that.

Excellent and solid, fair prices, helpful staff (not overbearing "nice" thank goodness), neat, decent location and not the usual touristy trap place. Ideal if you want to mind your own business and not get overwhelmed with all kinds of extras/activities/entertainment.

The beds are heavenly, spaciousness the theme for the room and only the extremely annoying pedantic types will find fault with it.

Only noticeable drawback, outside of their control, is a small reggae themed bar accross the road that is a little noisy till late. unless reggae is your thing.

Very nice place, big suites that make you feel at home. Staff very nice and helpful , the spa is amazing! Highly recommended.
They take you down to the beach if necessary.
Continental breakfast could be improved. This island has such an amazing variety of tropical fruit to offer but the one served at the hotel was tasteless,,, I finally had to run to the supermarket down the street and ask the waitress to fix it for me,of course they were very kind to do it,,, but they never ask me why or if it was something wrong with the fruit served by the hotel
But generally speaking the place is nice,quite and in a excellent location.

Stayed on out honeymoon. On the first day we had a 3 hour spa treatment which was the perfect start. The Villa had a private pool and we chose to have a romantic private dinner in the villa. They filled the pool and bath with petals and lit candles for us. The staff are the most friendly I have had the pleasure of meeting. The breakfasts are great and flat white coffees are so smooth. Not a single bad moment in our stay and would recommend to everyone. If you're into running, there is a 4km path along the beach that is perfect for a run during the sunrise in the morning.

We chose the One Bedroom Villa with Pool (Villa #1) for our Honeymoon in Bali and received a very warm welcome with chocolate cake and wonderful flower decorations in our bedroom and bath. The Sanur Kamuela resort is situated in a tranquil spot and the private pool with overlooking trees is more than we could ask for. The breakfast menu is very customisable and delicious. Dinner is mid-priced compared to surrounding restaurants. The bath is large and has outdoor shower, absolutely no bugs. Lighting was a bit dim but the room was spacious and clean. The front desk staff were very helpful and helped us with money exchange. All staffs are friendly. The resort offered a good tour package and the driver, Mr. Madek, also acted as our guide and helped us understand the local custom and history. Overall, we are highly satisfied with our stay and are looking forward to going back again.

We stayed here as a couple, no kids for 5 nights in villa nr 4.
Here is our pro's and con's list:

Pro's:
- Great room with good facilities. You have a lot of privacy in the villa. The private pool is amazing.
- clean
- good bed
- the staff is even for balinese standards exceptional, you don't have to ask for anything, they just do it. Great sense of needs.
- The quality of the food in the restaurant is great, reasonable prices. You can also have dinner in your room and order breakfast at your room, without any additional charge.
- It's a small hotel with limited rooms so it's very quiet and peaceful.
- location is good, short walk to the beach and a lot of shops nearby.

Con's:
- bats and roaches, but the hotel provided us spray and a mosquito net and if you close the shades, the bats won't fly on your terrace.

Not a lot of cons. Really the best hotel we had in bali. Great value for money.

My wife and I stayed one month in villa 3 and our experience at Kamuela was outstanding in all respects. All of the service people were great and it was the best hotel stay experience that I can remember. Everything was perfect and we look forward to returning for an extended stay in the near future. We have stayed at Kamuela on around seven occasions. We have made some really good life long friends there in the staff that work there. The grounds and the villas are beautiful and the food and service is the best. We never like to leave there and always look forward to returning. Everyone is very friendly and they can't do enough for you. I would thoroughly recommend staying there.

One of our favourite places to stay in Southern Sanur. The suites are the best. Enormous quality rooms with balcony spa and modern large bathrooms. Swimming pool is also great. Located in the heart of Southern Sanur it is in the heart of many cafes, restaurants and shops

Old world charm, the lobby felt like something out of the French colonies. The villa we stayed in was good enough but a bit worn around the edges, the private pool was great fun and the garden well maintained.

The REAL stars of the show here are the staff. Everyone worked so hard to ensure that we enjoyed our stay, proper hospitality that has us talking about going back already.

This seriously an awesome place to stay. I had my 50th birthday party there and they did such an incredible job. The staff and chef understand your needs and went well beyond to help us out.
The villas were awesome and I cant wait to stay there again.

Amazing stay at the suite room..very huge room complete with big Jacuzzi, I stay there last week with my new wife, we enjoyed our honeymoon there, all staff very helpful and threat us with very excellent.
They have Caramel Restaurant which very busy every night, no wonder because the food taste very delicious..I recommend lamb medaliaon and sea food curry,,hmmm yummyyy.
Then don't forget to try the balinese massage at their spa, Sari and Dewi are our favorite therapistVery recommended hotel for your honeymoon
