Waking up overlooking tropical gardens was the highlight of my stay. Overall, I very much enjoyed three nights here. If you don't play golf, don't let that put you off. I booked into a standard room; finished with lots of natural wood, high ceiling. Shower and toilet were a little small and let the room down. Gardens are beautifully kept, and one of the reasons I wanted to stay outside town. Outdoor pool, small gym, couple of restaurants where the food is slightly overpriced, but good quality and well-presented. Would certainly stay again.

Love the ambience. The hotel provided several activities for kids during the weekend such as cake decorating, several games, free horse riding and also free cotton candy yaayy. I think they should make bigger pool since it was always crowded during weekend. If they do so I will give 5 stars 😊

Been here many times. Very nice landscape. Nice, clean and spacious rooms. Many activities for the kids. The pool is a bit small though so it's crowded during weekend. Food now tastes much better. Recommended to stay with family.

Nice hotel, try it by yourself. The hotel is really secluded far away from the highway so quiet and feel like blend with nature with bungalows here and there. About transportation, there are no public transportation to the hotel. So the only way is only by car. The hotel location beside unis hotel and a golf course. They also provide you with lots more facility like fitness center, swimming pool, kids center. There also bicycles ready for you to be borrowed if you stay at the hotel. The food is good form west to local food, including barbeque.

Just having a meeting here for one day and dinner..
The room is old fashioned and one of decoration suddenly fall off and make everybody little bit shock..
The wall that use for projector not to clearly for someone who sit on the back.. Maybe change the colour to white and change a newest projector would be better..
The food was nice but, having dinner is like just at lunch time cause the menu is same..
Many plants, so quite, great for gate away from crowded jakarta..

Very beautiful garden. The buffet for Saturday lunch is 200,000 and looked good. If you eat a la carte you will end up spending this so not worth it. Apple pie too sweet and not enough apple in it. They brought the desert at the same time as the main so the ice cream melted. Pool gets busy after 3 on Saturday and noisy with kids club. Nice kids play area.

This resort is a pleasant surprise, and relatively easy to get to from the toll road. The rooms were spacious enough for four people, though we did need to request additional pillows. The mini are & coffee/tea service are not apparent when you walk in - they are hiding below the bathroom sink. The breakfast and dinner had a good variety of both Western & Eastern foods, though breakfast was quite crowded due to the hotel being fully booked during our visit. The real surprise is what they have for families. Every day, they have heaps of activities - and the schedule varies from day to day. They have cooking classes, horseback riding, animal feeding, kids aerobics, and poolside movies. The pool has a range of areas - wading pool, general playing, as well as an area to do laps. There are several play areas, including something similar to a "ropes course" or Outbound. The Bogor Golf Club is literally next door - and we had a superb time at the driving range. Restaurant prices are not astronomical. Signing up for their rewards club also nets a few on-site benefits.

Was here last 5 years back and I loved the stay. Came back here with high hopes but they need to start renovations right away. Service is still consistently good and the garden is lovely. But nothing can cover the fact that everything just looks old and dated.

This hotel is designed as a resort, with sprawling buildings. Lots of facilities here, especially for kids. They will love the animal feeding activity (they can feed rabbits, turtles and also horses! (only on weekend))

The room is rather old and shows wear and tear here and there, but overall still highly comfortable. Recommended for a quick weekend getaway from Jakarta

This place is good for families to stay in for weekend gateway. There is small petting animal zoo in the backyard of hotel. The swimming pool might be favourite spot for children.

The Hotel location are far away. From the main street and that makes it more Natural, lots of big trees, comfortable room, large area to take a walk, feels like its in the middle.of the forest. Good relaxation. Good room and bathtub..the only problem is..no numbers in front of the doormany times people wrongly knocking my room while.their room is at the other door that facing each othernot good, must change thatthats why I can only give you. 4 star instead.

Nice resort. Room is minamalist, amenities is limited, no conditioner, lotion is provided after requested. Only one towel is provided, had to ask for hand towel etc. The door is broken, hard to open sometime. Only two pillows are provided.

Pool is nice. Bike is free. The food is OK although there are some rooms for improvement. The waitress should ask for drink, at least tea or coffee..

The place is huge. Feels like a resort in Bali. The rooms however are quite small. Swimming pool's water is nice n cold. Ladies' toilet at the swimming pool is broken cannot flush. The soap is also out.

Eventhough this is quite an old hotel, but the management maintains the place well. The garden is awesome, with many big tress that is hard to find in big cities these days. The children playground is very nice, they have quite a challanging outbound area suitable for children aged 5 to 12. They have swimming pool, basketball, table tennis, badminton, feeding rabbit, riding horse, and cinema time under the stars every saturday night. The room is big and spacious, try the one with outdoor bath tub. The bath tub is so big it can fit two or three children.
We have a great stay here and all services were 5 stars.

It's a good, quite and cozy place, good breakfast, i like the sound of water, i think very natural surrounded by trees, it’s a like you have a tiny jungle in your home but you are gardening in the middle of your tiny jungle, somehow the light is dimming and i the live music is sometime a little bit “annoyed”, overall it’s good hotel.

horrible experience. room 452. smell coming out from bathroom, so i need to close bathroom area. i think there's a problem with the plumbing. also yellow spot on chair, dust everywhere. i dont know when the last time they properly clean or check the room. maybe they ignore it and wait to renovate entire hotel next year so dont expect to much

Really hate giving such a bad review but i dont think I have never been so disappointed in a hotel in Indonesia. The name 'Spa resort' implies relaxation, which is what my husband and I wanted after a stressful few weeks. We paid 1.6 million rp (well above average for the area) for the pleasure - I thought I was paying for quality. We were hoping to escape the biz of Jakarta for the weekend and enjoy the nice quiet serene of the country. This is not the place for relaxation. Customers have no consideration for other customers. Noise in hall at 6.30am from screaming children. Both adult and children's pools were jam packed full of kids who were so badly behaved. The parents didn't care. There were only 6 loungers for people to lay on in the entire resort. We ended up being confined to our room, on a balcony - again no loungers. We could still hear kids screaming in our room.
At night we noticed ants crawling on our bed. Called for housekeeping. They came an hour later.
Yes this resort is dated. Many comments of this in other reviews but it's not what let it down. I still really liked the decor.
Points for improvement:
1. Use your beautiful surroundings and make other alternative areas for guests to go who don't wish to listen to children behave like animals. Make these adult only. It is a spa resort after all, not Disneyland There are plenty of activites for children to do. Or consider changing your name to reflect what this is - a Butlins holiday camp for families.
2. Pest control is easily achieved. Never experienced ants in a bed before in Indonesia, even in cheapest hotels. Disgusting. This has been pointed out to you in other reviews. Fix it.
3. Update bed linen and towels. They were yellow and very disgusting. I am not buying the "it's new fabric technology" excuse. This is laughable.
4. Reduce prices. Very over-priced for such mediocre standards.
5. When complaints are made to reception staff, don't just laugh them off. Take them seriously.

I came to the resort excited, thinking this could be our new regular country getaway from Jakarta. I will never be back. I am so disappointed in you.
Back home to Jakarta wishing I had just spent the weekend at home and saved myself 3 juta!

It's a very bad experience when I spent Easter holiday in Novotel hotel. The bed is very small and the furniture is very old. The light is dim everywhere which makes you feel uncomfortable. The swimming pool is too small. Worst of all, the food is very expensive which is unreasonable compared to its quality. Compared with R Hotel which I went last time, this hotel is worse in every aspect even the price is same.

A perfect escape from a hustle and bustle of Jakarta. Resonable distance from the down town, quite close to the heart of historical places of Bogor city. Daddy, mommy and kiddos will all enjoy the facilities, including pool, sandy court volley, table tennis, court tennis, hourse riding, archery, and many more. Weekend program for kids available.

POOR SERVICE
I stay in room 206 for a night and waiting my husband golfing
By noon someone knock on my door asking for me to check out,i told him i was waiting for my husband but than he told me the room is going to be used by other and said that i can wait in the lobby,WHATSS??? So than i wait outside near to valey service for almost 3 hour with my kids without nothing to offered

Consider this old hotel and I think they are maintaining this hotel okay. Busy in the weekend. Offer nice breakfast. Very natural kind a environment. Nice to stay with family. The pool is not heated, it is nice if you need some cold water kinda swim. I love it though.

I just can give 2 stars because I think only the room is nice. me and my friends arrived in the hotel before 2pm and we wait until at 5pm to get all room ready. We booked 3 rooms but only 1 room ready at 3pm. Wth people doing here? How come they let the guest waited for that long. After that we got idr 100k voucher for dinner and yet we got trouble on dinner time. We want to pay the dinner with that voucher but we was can not do it because our meals less that 100k voucher. So what's the point if we cant used that voucher. Even it is less than our voucher we did not ask for change? Seriously and door wait too long even when we came in the morning for just referring the drink. We wait 15 minutes? THAT WAS ONLY A DRINK. SERIOUSLY NOTHING CAN MAKE ME IMPRESS ONLY THE NICE ROOM. Thank you NOVOTEL BOGOR.

This resort located far away from the city. If you need a moment of silentness, you will get that here. It had super comfy room and great services. But the food is so so, sometimes it isn't well cooked.

Came here for the weekend and I absolutely loved it! The place was very green, refreshing, serene, secluded, and clean. Big thumbs up to ALL the smiling staff for their incredible hospitality. The Italian restaurant there is genuinely delicious, giving some of the big name Italian restos in Jakarta a run for their money! Breakfast was also great, just that the table cleanup was a bit slow and there was a shortage of drinking glass.

Good place for family hideout. Breakfast are the best. You need to bring your own transportation though. From the hotel if you drive your way to the city you will come across two best restaurant in Bogor, de leuyit and rumah kita. You may find the best food in town, be aware the place are always full

Must admin that the Italian restaurant is fantastic. Staff are really great. Even that the chefs are local, they are really good. Prices are not too bad being that it is in a hotel. Love to go once or twice a month.

Loving this hotel. Can give you the tranquillity you need from your busy life.

Those seeking traditional rooms with a lot of wood accent here and there, it would suit you best. Room was large.

Buffet is great. I stayed there for 2 weeks once for training purpose and I didn't get bored by the buffet menu. They choose a theme for every meal session.

A lot of activities available. Gym, swimming pool (not suited for you seeking to exercise), fussball, pony horse riding, billiard, tennis, basketball, and simple archery.

It is great to take short break from Jakarta.
