Stay here twice for almost two weeks periods. Room is big and have good view. But services was poor, i asked for non smoking room, but got the smoking room. Well they changed it but was waiting for a while till got the replacement. Room is poor house keeping and cleaning. Food is so so

Ridwan, Executive Housekeeper is very friendly and courteous. I'm touched by his sincerity. He personally sent me my lunch and dinner. He took responsibility and deserves the credit due to him. Management please take note of this staff and special mention in his Appraisal.

4-star hotel with 3-star facility.

What's bad:

I don't like the fact that my room is quite dim. But what's worst is that I'm sharing the room with an ant colony. Forgetting to put my sweet food into the fridge for a couple of hours means that the food belongs to the ants.

The food tasted just meh. I skipped the breakfast twice in a week because of this. The food I ordered (some Korean bowl dish) was also meh. Had no choice but to order in because it was raining outside.

I don't like their music choice in the dining area either. In the morning, they played energetic music instead of a calm and soothing one. In the afternoon, they play a mix of calm and loud music. So after listening to a blissful music, the next track is a Fast and Furious OST.

Please note that this is my third stay at Harris Hotel.

The one at Bali and Bandung were good. No complaints.

What's good:
The hotel's wifi is good. Sometimes it's unstable, but most of the time it's strong enough for work.

Very polite staff, nice view! Near to a huge shopping mall, but the rooms are need a refresh for sure and I would have liked to western food! Also air conditioning on the corridors is a must!

Always a good place to stay. Very good location, right next to ferry terminal. Mega Mall is also nearby. Unfortunately there is construction at the waterfront side so things can get noisy at times. The also have essential oil in the room to freshen up the place.

As the hotel do not allow checking in before 2PM event though the rooms are ready. Thus there are always a big crowd during check in time at the counter.
There is very unproductive and non customers orientated.
It made the lobby look messy and confused the counter staff as well with so many people all checking in at the same time.

We received the room facing the sea, it was really awesome. We didn't have he breakfast so not too sure of what to eat. The location is near to the batam ferry centre and also the batam mega mall. This is good for a quick one night stay. The receptionists are slow in attending to guests.

Great customer service. Room size was adequate but feels a bit dated. Also, take note that some rooms are smoking rooms so there is cigarette smell. The location of the hotel is a big plus. Right beside the ferry terminal and 5 mins walk to the mega mall.

Harris hotel batam ceter. Gedungnya masih baru, bersih,warannya cerah. Posisi strategis, dekat photo spot welcome to batam, di sebrang mega mall, alun alun, bunderan, tempat ditengah keramaian. Ada kolam renang kecil di belakang lobby. Di lobby ada atm , jadi mudah jika perlu cash. Tidak perlu cari keluar. Untuk kamar cukup bagus dan bersih, tapi sayang shower di kamar 209 pegangannya tidak mencengkram dgn baik. Untuk budget hotel, ok lah.. cheers.

Harris Hotel Batam Center is one of the chain of Harris Hotel. With high standard quality service Harris Hotel is serving it's guests.
This is with easy access and scenic view of the sea, and making good demand to the customers indeed.
However, Harris Hotel Batam Center is located just beside the International Sea Port Ferry Terminal, Batam Center at it's left and Otorita Building. And, front of Harris is Alun Alun / Park.
Also. At left opposite is Mega Mall where Popular Hypermart and Matahari Departmental store.
By the way, for shopping or dining or hangout while residing in the sea side hotel, guests have their lot choices nearby only.
As class hotel, it has its regular facilities those guests look for.

Room was somewhat not small and neither big. Decent buffet spread during breakfast and dinner. The price is not expensive compare to other hotels. The good of this hotel is that it is located near to ferry terminal, so you can arrive and depart with ease of mind. Distance between ferry terminal and hotel a stone throw away, also the hotel is near to one of the biggest mall called Megamall. Everything is accessible when you are in this hotel, food, shop, everything.

Hotel staff is friendly.location is fantastic as its near to mega mall. Breakfast has good selection. But swimming pool is small and there's no jacuzzi. It seems there are plans to build one. Will probably get better one the new extension is build.

Spent 1 night over there. The best thing about this place is the location, it is next to the ferry terminal. Opposite of the hotel you will find a mall as well. The staff are friendly and the room itself is decent. It may perhaps needs some maintenance but nothing that is a deal breaker. Definitely will go back again and recommended to others.

wish i could rate 10 stars. this is the best place to be in batam. espescially having the most enthusiastic staffs. these had brought this hotel lively. i dont know why people say 5 star hotel has better service but this in my opinion is the best. the cleaners over here even had time to make a dog towel, which is soo cute. this place is also not only near to the ferry terminal but also near to the mega mall. cheers!!

Great hotel located in the great location, exactly on beside Batam Centre Ferry terminal and on the opposite side of Mega Mal Batam Center.
But poor service response from the staff:
1. I have been asked by the receptionist to wait during the check in, but still nobody serve until almost 10 minutes.
2. I have been asked to wait to get the pool towel and nothing come up until I remind again.

I personally loves this place. Good sea view hotel's room. Nice and loud music to enjoy the night at the bar counter and the swimming pool. Best breakfast buffet style served. Booking, must include breakfast upper hand. Overall.. Wonderful place.

Harris hotel is amazing because it's just beside the ferry terminal and also there's batam mega mall there which is walkable distance!

There's street food along the street towards the mega mall. Delicious!

I stayed here for 2 weeks. The staffs are kind. The food is good. The best thing of this hotel is very near to international ferry terminal and batam mega mall. But it was very difficult to get uber, grab, and other online taxi.

Overall it was a good experience. Booked 1 night stay in batam and decided on this hotel since it is right beside the ferry terminal. Roughly about 5 minutes walk from terminal to hotel. The staff at the front desk are nice, they also serve us tea while waiting for our check in. Room was clean and tidy when we enter. We would return if we go back again. It is recommended.

You can see this view from HARRIS hotel Batam Center, I caught this pic from 312, so amazingand certainly I love the strategic place of this hotel, you go to Singapore by using the Ferry with only walking to the left side of the hotel,no needs taxi.

Hotel yang sangat bagus yang berada di samping pelabuhan penyebrangan ke Singapore dan tidak jauh didepan nya terdapat Mall.
Bagi para traveller, saya menyarankan pilih kamar dengan view ke laut (menyaksikan lalulalang nya ferry penyebrangan). Namun view didepan hotel tidak kalah menarik diwaktu malam.

Berikut saran dari saya :
- baik nya ditambahkan fasilitas entertainment seperti pub/bar (bukan discothèque) dengan jam operasional hingga pukul 01.00 wib. Mengingat customer hotel ini banyak yg profesi nya sebagai bussines man.
- dikarenakan saya pilih kamar dilantai 2 (kamar yg boleh merokok) mohon agar aroma dikoridor tidak berbau rokok.
(Maaf ya, saya ini perokok tp tidak suka bau rokok yg menusuk seperti bau asbak rokok)

It has two best side, you can see the sea with many boats on one side, and watch "welcome to batam" land mark on the other side, a small harbour is located beside it, so easy to reach another island

Hotel is reasonably clean and staff is friendly and helpful. However, aircon in the rooms is terrible. Very loud and no air exchange. You cannot open the windows to get some fresh air. Check-in was a very tardy process and unfortunately they were not considering extra wishes. Food in general was very good.

I was in this hotel on Sunday Night. My Friend Yudha, ayu, satria and arif invited me to joined them in this hotel. We had Project in this hotel. Comedy Short Video. They stayed at room 218 Floor 7. The room was clean, comfort and big. The air Conditioner really cold. I and ayu felt cool and we did not find the remote.

when i went out from the room, beside the Lift Door there was a window which had beautiful view. The view is shown WELCOME BATAM. The light was

Over all, this hotel was beautiful and has good staff. The Basement also safety, even i went home at 12.00 am by motorcycle, the place were safe and lighted with much lamp.

The hotel room was clean. Basic bathroom amenities provided. Our room was facing the sea view. Basically, even number room facing sea view. Odd number room facing city view.

Shower facility is good. Overall, I felt it's a three-star hotel.

Great view, you have two view options : City view or Sea view. Comfy room and friendly staffs. Orange-ish themed. Right in front of Batam Megamall, city square and right beside harbour to Singapore. Near by Ocarina / Coastarina beach.
