The best 3 Star Hotel in batam.. really near with all entertainment and food area in Batam City.

I had a wonderful stay in the hotel. Situated in the centre of city, near two big malls. Convenient for shopping. Breakfast covers wide range of tastes and preparations are mouth watering and sumptuous. Service is exemplary. Hotel has its own taxis. The drivers are helpful and courteous. The massage facilities are available in hotel itself and are good.

Had a pleasant stay at the hotel, service was great and quick. Room was clean and well maintained. Overall, a great place to stay and also located very near food places and a shopping mall.

Conditions of the room was terrible. Bedding was slightly torn, the walls and sockets had signs of wear and tear. What took the cake was the appearance of small cockroaches. Asked the receptionist for a room change but she just said that she will get someone to spray my room, so I asked her colleague to do the room change for me and was given yet another roach infested room. Asked for another room and it was fine based on appearance but 1 hour later I spotted a small cockroach near the bed. Service here is horrible and they seem to treat the cockroach problem as a norm as they were not even apologetic or surprised when I brought it up and they kept dodging my questions on the cleanliness of the room. I advise people who plan to stay here to think twice.

Excellent location, Near to BCS Mall, many spas, Public food court. Medium sized rooms, hotel amenities like shower pressure, hot water should improve. WiFi kept dropped put.

Bed is very comfortable. Has basic amenities.near wet market which is really convenient. Did saw a tiny cockroach crawling across the floor. Also, hot water was not really hot.

The staff at the main entrance were friendly and helpful. The room was of good size and comfortable. Can't understand why there's a urine smell coming from the toilet. The shower holder was loose and dropped down to the floor easily. Generally, we had a good 2-night's stay.

Firstly.the staff are friendly and helpful and never say no when you nees helpexamplemy friend forget his room key and they are kind enough to help without even grumblingthe security is very good because before you access to your roomyou need to input your card first at the lift.as for the room,it is quite spacious and big and the toilet is good in cleanlinessoverall it is a best hotel to stay as it centralised location is very good as it is near to alot of eatery area and few minutes walk to BCS shopping centre.

Value for money, clean, comfortable, card key access lift and room, location close to BCS Mall and food stores. They have basement parking lots. Breakfast was decent, few varieties taste okay.

Gideon Batam is not recommended anymore. It is so run down in facility and seems not to have regular upkeep. Most of the many rooms booked have issues. Either aircon were not cold, 1 had leaking aircon until floor was flooded and 1 very dirty bed sheet used. Personally, i find the hotel rooms very dirty. Most probably our last stay here.

The room is acceptable but the bath room shower pressure could be improved. Water pressure from rain shower head felt like drizzling. I don't expect shower & thunderstorms but at least heavy rain The air-con should be serviced. It is not cold even when I set it to 20 degrees!

Stay here on 7 October 2016 with few relatives. Hotel location is good but air cond not cold enough and water heater is not flexible for hot water. Breakfast is okay. Hotel staff is friendly. Market is nearly.

Breakfast is bad. Hotel is near a lot of eating place like Batam Center Shopping/ BCS and a lot of other smaller eateries, coffee shop and eateries so skip breakfast in hotel and go for those. A lot of Chinese operating shops, taxis and eateries around the area, hokkien, Teochew, mandarin and English speaking isn't a problem. Shampoo and shower foam at hotel is bad. Get cheap and good ones at nearby BCS mall. As long as we as 25 USD cents.

Room is relatively small and i got a room without view, but is ok for just a nite stay. No water heater, and aircon cannot be adjusted to preference. Breakfast has a good variety of choices. Hotel location is good, next to a markt place with lots of makan place surrounding it. Explore if you have time. There is mega mall next to it as well, sufficient to kill time if you do not want to be crop up in the small room. Overall, this hotel is above average.

Clean and affordable room that is a stone throw away from the market. A good place to stay if you intend to get dried food stuff like Ikan billis, dried shrimps at the market. Picked up some fresh Ikan billis, chips from the shop that has the photo of Jojo Jeget (the Noose programme) posing with the owner of that shop.
