The room itself is pretty nice and quite fairly priced. I do not recommend the restaurant at all. The food is mediocre at best but the cost is considerably high with additional 21% service charge.

Good location, quiet surrounding, provide one way pickup from Batam Center or Habour Bay to Hotel. Free shuttle to Shopping Center, Hotel breakfast is good.

My family & i used to always stay at this hotel before they renovated it. Years after, we are finally back here & i am impressed with their new lobby looks. I saw some familiar faces still working there and their services are really good & they are very friendly. Breakfast menus are changed everyday so you won't get bored of eating the same thing. But there are so many mosquitoes early in the morning in the restaurant for breakfast. Although there are 21% service charge for the room service, it is still affordable and the food are worth it as it is delicious. Also, the portion is enough to make you full.

Its my go to hotel whenever i visit batam island, the staff are very friendly and the rooms are all very clean. Its very near Harbour bay ferry terminal and nagoya hill mall. BCS mall just 10 mins walk away behind the hotel where you can buy ya daily needs and drinks for ya stay. The reason i keep coming back are the food they serve in their room service menu, they're all so delicious and resonable price. Will definitely back here soon.

The room is nice and comfortable and clean. Hotel location also quite strategic because it's close to the local shopping mall. The service is friendly with professional staff. The only minus is the food doesn't taste as good as the price is.

Hotel was clean & nice but only thing was their breakfast!
It was bland! They need to make it have flavor & they have to put more foods that are for breakfast like sausages? Overall hotel was 👌

The hotel is good. Although it might not be the best one I have stayed in Batam, but the staff friendliness is a plus. The spa centre within the hotel is good too. Worth staying there during the next Batam trip :)

Good Hotel but Lack Service from Receptionist staff. Room good but still have dust in many place .. but thumb up for the locations cause easy for find food ..

Good luck and please settle the service problem and more inspection for the room

Good respectful hotel close to Nagoya hill and relatively cheap also. Have KTV inside and very nice food. Family oriented during the day and KTV is adult themed at night.

Haven't been staying at this hotel for quite a while as previously its furniture and room a bit run-down. I guess recently its been refurbished as now i can see that its more elegant. Room much better. Will take note of this hotel for my next visit.

Stayed in this hotel few times always loved the comfortness of the room feels like home. Rooms are very well kept, toilets are well cleaned. Staffs are very friendly. The location of the hotel makes it very easy to visit the wet market for some shopping.

I really love this hotel. Have been to Batam for quite a number of times and Hotel 89 has been my and my family choice. The staff are very friendly..good and fast service. My family just love the food served by the hotel restaurant. I'll definitely recommend families and friends to this hotel.
