Best hotel to stay in batam..all staff is very friendly specially front office..hotel design and swimming pool everything looking goodi suggest to my friends also stay here..

Friend and I spent CNY in batam and stayed at hotel01, Good place to stay friendly staff,, just a bit problem they cannot speak english well but all is fine with stafffree wifi, with shuttle to Nagoya hill and megamall. The food is nice , they serve asian/western dish for breakfast and if you wish to have lunch and dinner you can have it at very cheap price. We are planning to go back in batam again with a bunch of friend this time and we love to book hotel01 again😊

We stayed here for 2 nights. It's relatively near to the ferry center. My friend and I walked there from the ferry centee. The whole stay experience was good. They provided free coffee or tea for every day you stay with free breakfast but the food selection for dinner is pretty limited.

I really liked the experience staying at Hotel01, the best plus side of the hotel is its very friendly staff.
NOTE: Most staff are not very good with English, so it is advisable to bring a English-to-Indonesian translation book.
The Good: (personally, I value a good service more than anything.)
The hotel has very good service-desk staff, they can help you get the driver to drive you to and from the nearby shopping malls like Mega Mall (which is actually 15min walk from the hotel, but the trip back is welcome when you have a lot of shopping bags!) and Nagoya Hill. (I feel that this is a good service because tourists might get cheated by taxis)
The room cleaning service is good.
24-hours of water, electricity.

The Bad:
If you get a room which is very far from the stairs, the Wifi signal may not be available or very weak. (very good signal at Lobby and near the stairs)
The rooms have not been fully renovated, as they look old from the inside (as of Nov-2014), hopefully they will do that soon.

Personally, I was not too bothered by the negatives, as I didnt want to spend the time on the computer, as we were in the 4th floor, it was quite windy and peaceful for a good rest.

Will I come back and stay at the hotel? - Yes, definitely
Will I recommend it to someone? - Yes
