Visited the tea story cafe at farmosa hotel level 1. Food and drinks are great, value for money. Personally love the emperor chicken and the tea story milk tea. Post your pictures on instagram and you can get a discount too.

This hotel is one of my favorite hotels in batam. They have a big room, and nice suite room. Near by Nagoya mall and surrounded by food courts! Very recommended!

Whole hotel stinks. There's a musky mould smell that's in lobby, even their renovated rooms and they mask it with automatic room fragrance which contributes to the funky smell.

Water pressure is extremely weak. The in house massage is relatively cheap but suggest in-room massage as the beds in the spa stank.

Convienence store just by the lobby.

Be prepared to be swarmed by lots of guys asking if you want to be driven to pick up joints. They don't take NO for an answer

This hotel has so much potential due to its location but unfortunate it's not maintained well.

The pricing of the hotel rooms are quite fair. The food in the hotel is as tasty as they are affordable. I had lunch with my picky sister there and it cost me 250k for 2 set meals and 2 drinks. She had a great time and I am stuffed after the meal.

Rooms are a tad old, entire place smells musky, but there is a 24 hours restaurant and convenience store on the ground floor and that helps.

I always stay in Formosa Hotel if I'm in Batam on company trip. Being a Silver card member, I enjoy benefits such as very affordable transfer to / from harbour, free laundry, late check out (2 pm). Located at the prime Nagoya Area, it's just 5 minutes walk from Nagoya Hill Mall and with the choices of eateries around the hotel, food is never an issue even if the restaurants in the hotel - Tea Story and Venice Restaurant - doesn't satisfy your taste buds.

The service was nice. Hotel is quite comfy but looks very old in the inside. Price is quite resonable. It has quite strategic location near Nagoya. Beside it, there is Lucky Plaza, the place where you can find phones with reasonable price (quite cheap actually). It is a recommended hotel if your pupose in Batam is to visit its Nagoya Hill mall and Lucky Plaza.

Good hotel, with good services. Lot of foreigners use this hotel, as it's fairly close to Nagoya and several other shopping center. Right next to the hotel is Lucky Plaza, which is like the center to get affordable gadget. The hotel itself is not brand new, but in good shape. The management clearly put their effort to renovate. But i guess, without total makeover, the hotel will always look a bit old. Overall, it's good experience.
