Great hotel with an amazing service. The monkey come to the territory which creates an amazing experience and vibe. The only thing is location. Its a bit far from the centre, you have to walk 10-15 mins.

Monkeys are everywhere because this hotel is on the Monkeys Forest Street. But the monkeys was cute, not as aggressive as the monkeys at the Uluwatu. Quiet and peaceful place. Near market and a lots of restaurants, streetfood. Next to monkeys forest. It also has 2 pool, both nice with pretty cool view.

Loved the monkeys here! Being in their natural environment. Very entertaining to watch. They are not here all the time. Only in mornings and around 2-4 pm.
Rooms were ok. We booked 6 rooms. They said they upgraded us to deluxe rooms. The rooms were just ok. The toilet was rocking. The shower flooded. The AC wasn’t working.
Would not recommend the hotel if your looking for a nice room to stay in.

Surprisingly very good hotel. Has got an amazing feel to it. Each room has got Balinese styled gate. Rooms are spacious. The general area is beautiful. Right opposite of monkey forest. In the middle of everywhere in ubud. One thing, monkeys roam around in the hotel and also outside your room. Which is another thrill for me actually. Breakfast decent.

Best value for money. Great garden and pool area. Breakfast included and have monkeys walking around throughout the day which is really nice. Room gets cleaned daily with refreshments and clean bedding and towels.

Awesome place to stay at ubud. Everyone should try there spa service its very relaxing and refreshing. This hotel located in a place from where u can easily access to whole ubud.

27 year old 3 star property. Has a rustic charm. I found a great deal online that made my stay even sweeter. Has 2 swimming pools and is right next to the monkey forest. All essential shops, restos and Ubud market are close by. Missed the 5 star as it being an old property misses the new smart keys sysytem, new led tv's etc + the hot water was just warm - but it's definitely manageable.

We went there in dec'16. It's a very nice place to stay. Confy rooms with nice surroundings. Very co-operative staff. They prepared a fruit basket for us at 2am for breakfast for return journey. It's a street across monkey Forest which is a very scenic place to visit and it's in the main market. Ubud palace and Saraswati temple are at walking distance. It's right across Hotel Ganesha where they serve Indian food (a rare thing in Bali). Few massage places are nearby.

Thought I ordered Breakfast included. Food and drink is a bit on the expensive side. Eat at the Restaurents in Ubud instead. Otherwise a friendly clean hotel with all the facitlites you need

very nice hotel to stay, comfortable rooms,nice bathroom, nice light in the evening and night 😙😍with 2 pools very clean..i love it .. staff were friendly, very cool place, lots of trees..monkey its not scary..breakfast is very nice * the most delicious fried rice and pancake,coffe is the best * breakfast when we were in Wanara lounge,very comfortable, we can see the monkeys from the window while enjoying a delicious breakfast 😍😍

A nice place to stay. They have large rooms and big bathrooms with bath tubs. Since it's located near to the monkey forest, you can see some monkeys playing around the hotel. You'd better not bring any plastic bag or leave your belonging in the balcony or else the monkey will take it.

I stayed here a couple days in December 2016 and found it to be a good place to stay. A plenty of monkeys live in the garden next door, but harmless!

Beautiful area with two great pools! The lower pool is a little warmer than the upper pool because the water mostly stays in it, whereas the upper pool overflows and is constantly being refilled.

Central to Ubud with wifi and a great breakfast. The pools and spa are fantastic. Keep an eye on your things because monkeys are regularly hanging around the grounds.

An awesome hotel in the heart of Ubud. Really comfortable rooms, awesome pools and the best high light of this hotel ist the morning fight for breakfast with the monkeys.
If you want some real entertainment you need to come here - promissed! The monkeys from the monkey forest next to it also know about the breakfast buffet :D
It will be impressiv and don't worry, the staff will protect you and you can always take a new bun if you lost the fight :Dresponse / report this review
