Good hotel in the middle of Budapest near all the highlights. Rooms are big, clean and breakfast is excelent. Public transportation with streetscars and the 3 main metrolines are just 100 meters from this hotel.

Very modern and clean. Female receptionist, can't remember her name was fantastic, very friendly and helpful and very approachable. Just her alone turned a nice hotel into a place I'd visit again. You don't always get reception staff that are so ready to provide excellent customer service but she was fantastic. Will definitely stay here again the next time I visit budapest. The location is fantastic as well. You're in the center of the city with an underground station a literal few minutes away.

I drove into the city and on the same road as this hotel maybe 5 minutes by foot is a reasonably priced park house. Everything was stressfree and easy. You can get a ticket for the park house from the hotel as well.

A really central hotel. The hotel is stylish and the rooms are a good size. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and varied and the staff pleasant and visible. Here with other girlfriends and would recommend the hotel for its location and value.

My wife and I planned a two weeks visit to Europe back in the Summer. We were to fly into Budapest, stay there a couple of nights, venture into other parts of Europe, and finally spend our last night back in Budapest before leaving Europe. Not having been in Budapest before, we picked the Carat based on its proximity to the center of the city and what we were interested in seeing. Much to our pleasent surprise it was everything we could have imagined and more. The room and the staff, particularly Ga'za, the true Hungarian gentleman who manages the resturaunt made our stay an experience which we will never forget.

Small but clean room. The view was indifferent. Breakfast was ok, nothing special. Service was very good.
