nice rooms. very good buffet in the restsurant. helpful staff, a modern clean looking hotel. with 1 indoor and 1 outdoor pool. lovely terrace to watch the sunsets. Local facilities excellent including transport to the old town

Terrible slow not smooth internet caused me a lot of troublealso had to go to bed tired and hungry as I was unable to fulfill a simple light salad craving hereafter 30minutes wait all that had arrived was an empty plate with cutlery and a serviette not even a glass or water or asked if i wanted drinksI've hardly had a 4 star hotel experience.room, the location scenery and some of the staff were decent. But there are so many other options in Dubrovnik I wouldn't stay here again. This hotel is like "the pretty face without substance" aimed at huge groups with cattle class service to match. Towels were thin and abrasive like sandpaper, when I tried to open the foot pedal bin it was so lightweight materialit fell forward on me. Lots of issues like this all add up to an extremely disappointing experience.
4 star rating you expect decent service and function standards including simple meals arriving in a timely fashion especially when not during the peak time rush and having internet that works reliably with sufficient smooth speeds to function! Is this too much to ask? At the prices they charge, I thinkno!

I really want to give it four and a half stars but I will round it up to five. The hotel room is awesome. I didn't want to leave. Nice modern appointments throughout. The spa is one of the best I've ever been to in the world. And I get massages all the time. I wanted to knock half a star off for the service at the breakfast and dinner buffet. Wait staff seems very confused. They bussed plates of food that we had just filled from the buffet and we're a little confused with the drink orders. But there's other places to eat in Dubrovnik if you wanted to take a cab so this is not a huge deal. Beautiful property can't wait to go back

Great hotel outside of Old town with huge variety at the breakfast buffet and awesome views from the outdoor pool. I wouldn't have picked it myself but came with a tour group that put us here. Facilities are nice with 5 saunas (2 only for women) and huge pools (indoor and outdoor). We were able to take the local bus right outside the hotel into Old Town (10-15 minute bus ride) easily.

Good hotel, but very big! We had a good stay during August. Bit annoying when there is a big conference on, restaurant can get packed.

Enjoyed every minute of our stay here! We visited late May into June and the spot was perfect, sun setting was exception and didn't even need to venture out on an evening. Staff were helpful and friendly. Food was better than expected for a buffet type. Would definitely go back here.

Well I should start by saying that this is not my kind of hotel, but I stayed for two nights when in Dubrovnik for a business trip.

The hotel is really huge but still stylish and extremely clean.
The room was quite big and the bed excellent.
The staff was always polite and helpful.
The breakfast buffet was gigantic, but also of course crowded.

All in all a nice, clean luxurious hotel.

Stayed as a group with 67 people. Good location for a group as transport was provided to and from various excursions but probably wouldn't return as individual as taxi to and from town would soon grow tiring. Facilities were excellent and our room which faced inland (pictured) still had a pretty good view. Breakfast was extensive and good quality although could have offered better choice of coffee. Service was prompt and view of sunset from bar terrace was amazing.

Very nice hotel, not so far from the beach. The rooms are quite big, cozy and if you are lucky, you will have a beautiful view at the sea. One minus of this hotel is a big distance from the Dubrovnik city (and old town), so you will have to spend some time to get there. Breakfasts are very good, but the coffee could be much better. Recommend.

The rooms were very comfortable, clean and spacious. Breakfast was decent and the conference hall too. Mostly I enjoyed the spa in this hotel. The staff was extremely welcoming and friendly. The spa itself is very lovely and the service was wonderful. Definitely a must if you are staying there.

Clean, large room and although a 'business hotel', it was full of facilities for a decent holiday. Beaches are within walking distance, as is the bus stop that will take you into town.
Restaurants, shops and bars within a 10 minute walk too.

Great steam room and spa. Kinda far walk to the beach however they have an indoor and outdoor pool inside the hotel. For the beach you have to walk down, 10-15 minutes to the other Valamar hotel to swim in the ocean.

Beautiful hotel. Large modern room with balcony with nice table and two chairs for enjoying fresh air. Coffee in room. Lovely bathroom and amenities. Amazing buffet dinner. Great breakfast
