A beautiful and breath taking place to stay. Mostly honeymooner and is a quit family resort. It doesn't have a night life, so not recommended if you want to party. Bar closes at midnight, and no other bars around. So don't expect a long drinking night. Most people go to old Town and taxi back. The town itself is more expensive than the rest of Croatia. Overall definitely plan to come back when I have a family.

Excellent hospitality, wonderful staff and the new brand gives the entire crew a new energy. One of the gem resort under the LHW. Only the club launch seems bit poor and ambiance should be as launch .

Sun Gardens Dubrovnik is an experience where beauty is at every turn. This modern European experience accentuates a uniqueness all its own. Sun Gardens architectural design brings the Adriatic and Balkan mountains to a breathtaking view as you find yourself immediately relaxing with a mindset of gratitude for the beauty beyond belief. Outstanding rooms that are exceptionally clean, banquet and event team was of the best I've come across. With five-star service and its culture set to serve this is the best experience in Europe! Definitely returning!

Beautiful hotel with excellent facilities! The staff are warm, friendly and go out of their way to make your stay more enjoyable. The souriunding area is well maintained and full of hiking opportunities if your into that sort of thing.

Beautiful place, and also one of best places I ever visited all over the world. BUT some staff members (not all) are RACIST.
Particularly, the staff at the morning buffet & at the front desk had a disappointing attitude. I was really offended by how the staff made fun of my sister's accent by mimicking her accent, although she speaks fluent English. Also, when we asked for the luggage trolley at the front desk, the staff at the front desk repeatedly ignored our request and was laughing and speaking in their local language when it was obvious we were standing in front of them. SO RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL. Sun gardens is lovely in so many aspects, but will never visit to this place again.response / report this review -

Lovely area and hotel! You have lots of restaurants, pools, gym (tennis, squash, running, weights, sand volleyball), and direct access to the Adriatic sea! A bit far from civilization, but we rented a car just to have the opportunity to "escape paradise" if needed. Absolutely recommended!

Very nice hotel, beautiful location, but you will need a car. When we visited in Sept it was quiet (how I like it), 3 well managed pools (1 adults only), private beach (stones), lots of restaurants (not cheap, but it is 5*). Residence rooms are very spacious, beautifully maintained and quiet. Would definitely return. 👍👍

Great hotel. Away from crowded city area but close enough. Several ways to get to old city from boats to Uber. About 20 min drive. The hotel is spotless. The rooms look new. Several restaurants which are decent and pricey. But not ridiculous. There are also small great places nearby. I would mix it up. Eat at hotel and local places. Renting a car is toss up. You can get around cheaper but parking is pain in ass and expensive in old city. But manageable. Park outside city in public garage. Be prepared to walk ten minutes of pretty steep steps. If you are not in shape take Uber or Cab. The whole area is safe and beautiful.

Superb attention to detail. Everything was spotlessly clean. Or Emperor Suite was perfect in every detail.

Excellent !!! A perfect holiday resort with all the possible facilities- sport center, swimming pools, private beaches, super market on site, shopping..everything you want access to during your holidays.

An incredibly beautiful place, very comfortable and welcoming hotel main building which is where I stayed. The views and surroundings are stunning and I can imagine it gets only better during high season! Beautiful room, big balcony and an amazing view. Also very friendly and helpful staff, very attentive. And the breakfast buffet was heavenly!

Pros: Great view
Yummy breakfast with variety
Nice pools. Has adult only pool if you want more quiet
24 hour desk service
Good price for shuttle to Old City
Cons: Going to anything requires paying for a hotel shuttle or a crazy amount for a taxi.
Night shuttle hours force you to Old City early or stay very late for the next one
Close to $6 for a bottle of water at one of pool bars. Haven't looked at water prices in other parts of the hotel.
