After seeking this place out based on reviews, I have to say we were not disappointed in the slightest. The service we were given was top notch, even when it was packed, and the food was to die for.

We started off not having a clue what any of the menu was, so asked for a bit of advice which the staff were more than happy to give (this only ended up cutting down the menu by 2/3!). We were given full descriptions on each dish and the choices were still incredibly difficult, but ended up going for the house specials which were something special, and not only that, but quite reasonably priced.

Some of the nicest food I've eaten in a long time, and would go back in a heart beat.

Great food and suggestions from our server! Hospitality was very good as well. Highly recommended if in the mood for Bosnian cuisine.

Almost skipped this place despite the good reviews because of the Indian name and were very glad we didn't. It was much busier than most of the other restaurants in the area so do book ahead.

The menu is very much meat-dominated and not being huge meat eaters we ordered the turkey rolls to share, gazpacho and pita bread which were all delicious, with special mention going to the bread. Service was extremely warm and friendly - I'm always impressed when service staff suggest sharing so you don't over order.

What a satisfying meal! We loved the restaurant, it's a great place to try out traditional Croatian dishes, which is precisely what we did. We got the platter with multiple traditional meat dishes and it was superb! My best recommendation would be to come early. We came shortly after it opened and with the limited seating, we were the third table seated. Shortly after we sat down, all of the tables were taken. Throughout dinner I noticed many of the same couples and families making multiple passes by the restaurant to see if any tables were available. I would highly recommend Taj Mahal to all (just come early)!

Unique cusine that we found tasty and creative - everyone will like this place. Great service by good, keen servers; and don't overlook, the tremendous chef whose kitchen team turns out consistently excellent Bosnian fare. This place wins a big gold star by our experience.

Amazing food! Great service and really nice place. Both outside and inside. Friendly staff. Highly recommend it! Ate the special with meat and mushrooms in a dough.
Update: Ate here a second time. Cevapi this time. Main course was again amazing. Dessert was great but I would recommend eating appetizers instead since they were better. Staff was really friendly the second time as well.

It was probably our favorite dinner in town. Fantastic Bosnian specialties served here.
We shared many appetizers to try out different dishes. The friendly staff was the Cherry on top. It is located in a busy narrow Street in the old town.

Incredible place! The old town is full of Italian places so after being in Italy for a week I was desperate for other cuisines, and this place delivered plus some. From reading the menu, I wasn't overly impressed, the meals don't sound exciting so we asked for recommendations. It's not delicate food, just pure home style cooking at its best. As other reviewers have said, this place is a must and I'll do my best to come back here. Skip the main strip and come here for the food and service!

Tastiest food in all of Dubrovnik!!! We are vegetarians and absolutely loved the veg skewer & mushrooms with cheese sauce (with bread on the side to soak up the most amazing white sauce.) We came here 3 out of 4 nights for dinner while here and wished we went all 4 nights. Staff are super friendly and efficient. Definitely recommend booking early, even the day before so you get the time you want. Busy each time we went, I think we were just lucky the first night without a booking because it was late. Also tried spinach and cheese pie and the baklava for dessert, both nice. We brought meat eating friends one night who thoroughly enjoyed there mixed share plate of meat and veg. Highly recommend!!

Tucked away in the side alleys of Dubrovnik Old Town, we found this charming restaurant serving local (Bosnian I believe) cuisine. The food was very generous and good quality, and the service was friendly and prompt. The prices were good for the old town but still higher than outside the old town. There were a few children's options on offer and the place seemed quite well known and popular. Recommended.

Decent yet fairly average tasting food. The ambiance is like a typical nice restaurant. Did not have much of a problem ordering in English and service was good. It's Bosnian food in a restaurant with an Indian name in Croatia. Slightly pricey but so is everything in Dubrovnik. Most of the dishes are meat based with some version of potatoes.

Firstly the service was good efficient & friendly, so no complaints there. but the seating is very cramped and the style of food realise very much on pastry or undercooked dough and is therefore stodgy, the cost of our 3 course meal in euros was €130 for two people with a normal bottle of wine and one drink before, which for the style of restaurant was excessive.

Amazing Bosnian food! Perfectly cooked meat. Not small portions - be warned. Was resonably priced for the quality and taste and much cheaper and better than some on the main square. Definitely recommend.

Contrary to what the name may suggest, this is a great Bosnian place in old town (not Indian).

Bosnian coffee is a must. I highly recommend doing some quick research on Bosnian Coffee before going here so that you can drink it and enjoy it properly. There are some subtle differences between Bosnian and Turkish coffees that I found interesting.

My wife and I ordered entrees to split and so they plated both dishes together so that we could share more easily which was appreciated.
