Well, Dubrovnik is certainly among the most expensive parts in Croatia, so the price at Mean Culpa was quite reasonable. However, I would describe the Pizzas we got as just about average (a tad too much cheese and otherwise light on other toppings and a soaked tough). I'm by no means an expert and can't say if that's the standard for Dubrovnik but if you go there, expect a friendly service, nice scenery of a less crowded side-street of Dubrovnik and possibly almost mid-range quality pizza (maybe we had just bad luck, who knows in light of the otherwise often excellent ratings)

I'm not coming to Croatia for Italian food. But it was late and we wanted crepes. Crepes we're good. But more than anything the server was literally the best I've experienced. Our friend who has a cold ordered hot water with lemon and we brought out honey as well as softer napkins for her nose. He split our 2 orders for crepes into 3 plates so it would be easier.

Pretty good option at a reasonable price in central Dubrovnik. But it was a bit too cheese heavy and slightly soggy. Service was nice.

I am so extremely satisfied with my experience at this restaurant. The pizza was delicious (we had the mea Culpa), The service was friendly, the food came quickly (which is important because we have invents), and the mixed drinks were fabulous. The bathrooms are extremely nice and very clean by all standards. The women’s bathroom has hairspray, spray deodorant and sanitary napkins available for all people to use. I will absolutely suggest this location to everyone who visits Dubrovnik.

(There were three women eating and we finished one pizza together)

A cozy restaurant a the edge of the narrow streets in old town Dubrovnik. The food here was great. I tried the pizza diablo which was quite spicy but great. The waiter was very friendly and helpful. He came over to my table and explained how they age the spicy salami.

Really great food. The Nutella Pizza is a must to try if you have a sweet tooth. Staff are lovely and a reason revisit

Huge pizzas, good service and tasted freshly made. The chillis on the pizza were weak however. Drinks are very expensive.

Wow. Don't know how this restaurant got so many good reviews. Granted, service was fine and the pizzas are huge, but what about the taste? There was just no taste in the dough, the cheese and the tomato sauce. Sea food on the pizza was clearly not fresh (except maybe the shrimps). This combined with the hefty price: never again. Tldr: if you ever tasted good Italian pizza, do yourself a favor and don't go here.

Fantastic pizza. Ended up going here twice it was so good. Be prepared to share though unless you are really hungry as the pizzas are huge! Also worth knowing that there is a 10% discount if you have the Dubrovnik Card and an additional 5% if you pay by card. Think this was the best restaurant we visited in Dubrovnik

Very friendly personal and amazing pizza. I recommend to order the kebab pizza. It was amazing. We had to wait a bit to order our food but we got it very fast.

The Pizza is fantastic. I had a pizza diablo. Hot but tasty. The vegetable pizza is fresh and fine as well. But of course it's way too expensive. Two beverages, two pizzas for 50 Euro is quite ambitious.
Nevertheless the service, the location and the food was great.

Nice place and good service. The Caprese Salad was ok, but the pizzas are made with ketchup (not tomato sauce). We'll never go back!

Large portions. I saw several people leave their pizza uneaten because it was too much food. You could safely share 1 pizza between two people. Flavor was okay, nothing remarkable. Outdoor seating is nice, and peaceful since it's not in a main street.

Great Italian restaurant serving a wide variety of pizzas and other dishes. Generous portions and very large standard size pizzas. The pizzas are quite good too, with much variety in the menu and ample customization options. The prices of food as well as drinks are reasonable for the Old Town. Great value for money at this place, and an option for people visiting Dubrovnik on a shoestring budget.

Is popular with the locals also. Gets quite busy in the season, especially for dinner. Arrive early or make reservations. Offers 10% discount with the Dubrovnik Card.

    Would recommend. Would come back.
