Great local find! Fish, truffle pasta and beef steak was exceptional! Definitely recommend!
Service - fantastic, friendly, and helpful.
Food - Truffle pasta was perfect, flavour and texture.
Grilled sea bream - perfectly cooked, but could use some additional grilled veg.
Tucked away behind The Rector’s Palace, centre of power in the old Republic, this former wine cellar is now home to a rather special restaurant. Get a table on the small shaded platform outside if you can, but it’s almost as good indoors surrounded by the old stone. The speciality here is meat, which really means steak – go for Beefsteak Rozario, in a sauce of dried figs, wine and honey – but there’s good seafood, too. Combine the two with the Dalmatian Platter of anchovy, octopus, smoked ham and cheese, or save it for the next day.
I've asked for a medium steak. But they served me a well-done one and the meat isn't fresh and anything but tender. Not recommended.
Food was poor. Mainly salad with oil. Fish was refrigerated and tasted like a filet from supermarket; I bet that it was exactly that. Service was below expectations. Price really high as for experience. The place looked really lovely, this is the biggest plus.
just perfect !
best food, best service, nice place !
There are a LOT of fine restaurants in Dubrovnik but this one is simply exceptional. The food accompanied by great service and at a reasonable price is well worth seeking out. Is best to book to avoid disappointment, worth the wait.
Excellent food.
Excellent meal with a much more varied menu than all the clone pizzerias throughout dubrovnik
