This hotel is amazing. Sea view rooms are brilliant. And the hotel is great, everything you need for a long weekend away for a week long holiday. Cannot beat the location.

Beautiful contemporary hotel in stunning bay side setting. Spa, pools, bars, restaurants all of a high quality. Standard of rooms are equivalent to those found in the Intercontinental Group. Good buffet breakfast, excellent friendly service, fast check in. Set up high above the rocky beach getting back up the many steps is a challenge for those with mobility problems, but the staff are more than happy to bring you back up by golf buggy. Just ring the number on your room key card. Lovely place. Most relaxing.

Buffet food is excellent. Room was fantastic, staff are also fantastic. Lovely place to stay with the town nearby and ferry access to dubrovnik. Would definitely recommend.

From the moment we arrived we have been blown away with the service but mostly the absolute beauty of the views from the place. The hotel is serene, imaculatly kept and attentive to any requests. Food is good and offers lots of choices. Cannot recommend the steak house restaurant enough one of the best places we have eaten in.

Hotel is really nice but evening meal choices poor in the all inclusive buffet. Prices in the bar a bit steep compared to bars in town that were sometimes better quality. Excellent hotel for a chilled break.

Super hotell, great pool, nice breakfast buffet, has several restaurants and bars. The staff at breakfast is not very service minded though, inattentive and a bit rude. The staff at the pool restaurant is awesome!! Robert and a lady which I unfortunately did not catch the name of are real angels, and work in that lunch bar/restaurant. The steak house restaurant at the hotel is great. There is quite a steep hill to the hotell but there is golf cars you can take, just call the hotel.

Large hotel but not tourist motivated, absolutely nothing for a holiday maker. Arrived during big conference so most are business types so feels less like a holiday. Food not inspiring and there is no beach despite what others say,it is just concrete. Staff mostly appear not to be interested in working and often ignore you. The lifts are useless, to small and few for a large hotel. As for drinks, hugely expensive which is why at dinner times there is mostly water on the table, and that still costs 4 pounds!

Lovely hotel set into the cliffs with stunning views. Good rooms and food with pleasant friendly staff. One downside difficult to get a sunbed when the hotel is busy. Cavtat itself is very picturesque and peaceful.

Great hotel in a lovely location. Staff always friendly and helpful. Food was great, lots of choice in pools and lots of entertainment and local activities. Room clean and spacious.

Hotel Croatia is set in the beautiful harbour town of Cavtat a modern a clean hotel very nice comfortable bedrooms and luxurious bars and lounge areas.The buffet style restaurant is nice but not quite 5star and all the drinks are expensive 5star prices
Try to book a room with some sort of view,as the rooms at the back of the hotel can be dark with only a view of a tree (see photo) we asked to move and was given a room over looking the bay the next day with no fuss and no extra charge.There is a very handy buggy service down to harbour town area day and night as there is quite a hill
The swimming pool is a bit small for the size of the hotel but there is an indoor pool as well with the best swimming area on level one which leads out to a rocky south facing area down to the sea.
The hotel is directly under the flight path of the airport which is busy weekends (see photo)not the hotels fault and you get used to them after a couple of days
Overall I liked the hotel the friendly staff pleasant woodland surroundings

Hotel is nicely placed, great view and all that. This is review of the service not the building.
We had few cocktails in the main bar. Service is weak, staff is busy and forgetful. We got wrong drinks, wrong prices, all messed up.. I see better services in other hotels e.g. hotel Cavtat in Cavtat has very careful customer handling or hotel Palace in Dubrovnik has personnel that's happy to see and serve you Hotel Croatia left me impression they suffer and it's hard to work for them, busy with other things rather than looking after customers very strange feeling. (I wouldn't mind if this was 4 stars or cheap hotel, but this is a Luxury hotel, every detail matters)

Excellent service with friendly efficient staff. Very clean & tidy. Great golf buggy service from the hotel down to sea level. Disappointed by the so called "beaches" - one is basically a few slabs of concrete amongst the rocks with difficult access into the sea and the other has easier access but is not really a beach (more of a concrete patio near to the sea). Also disappointed that access to the jacuzzi & steam room are by appointment only.

Nice hotel,great location,very clean,
Food not so good but standard got better as the week went on,staff not overly friendly or helpful,you can drink hotel tap water here although they will to sell you bottle water
Very pricey drinks.
I'd go b and b if I return.
Cavtat is great,not expensive bars and restaurants.
Would definitely return but go b and b next time.

One of the most welcoming hotels I have ever visited, Hotel Croatia is an amazing hotel with stunning views, friendly staff and of course 2 private beaches and a private pier located just inside the cove

This hotel is just great. My wife and I visited last April. I have never felt so welcome. The staff did everything possible to make our stay fantastic and it was!
The scenery from every balcony, window and of course the gardens of the hotel was lovely. Although Cavtat is a small fishing village, the food and wine was really good and a really nice place to chill out a short taxi boat trip away from the hustle and bustle of the city Dubrovnik. It has to be one of the nicest places I have ever visited.

Welcome to the Hotel Croatia, such a lovely place.

Private bays, a beautiful spa and a well equipped gym. Swimming in the pool is lovely but pales in comparison to the intimate swimming areas that allow for a private swim in the stunningly beautiful Adriatic. Heavenly.
