The hotel states Wi-Fi is available but is not available at all except in the hotel reception, the terrace was dirty and we had to stay todays in a different room due to a mix up with our original room

Definitely not recommended, I paid almost £600 for 7 nights with my kids there (first holiday in 3 years) and we received a room that was big enough with a shower that was leaking on the floor (I almost broke my leg on the first night). The wi-fi was completely not there and the reception staff just ignored it completely. They just do not give the monkey if you complain. On the bright side the buffet food was really nice and tasty although the choice limited but that was fine. Swimming pool cold but you can't blame the temperature, the sea was warm enough. The hotel itself is rubbish and would require an upgrade for a 3 star it promises. Hello management, get yourself a good wi-fi and spend some money on fixing the showers, the smell in the bathroom gets mouldy!

It was very dated and service from front desk staff was very ordinary. They had happy hour specials so I ordered a mojito. It was discustng and served in a plastic cup. Definitely don't recommend. Unfortunately the other places are a lot more expensive

It's basic and a bit dated but clean and the staff are fantastic. There's a small pool and space for 20-30 loungers.

The food isn't what I'd call restaurant standard but it's really good.
It's like going to your Croatian grandma's house; nothing fancy, but satisfying.

This area is a great alternative to the old town. The Komodor is right next to where the number 4 bus stops which will have you at pile gate of the old town in 10 minutes for only 12 kuna. (If you buy a ticket in advance from a Tisak)
The money spent on bus tickets is easily saved by staying out of the old town.

    Good location.
    Good food.
    Fantastic staff.

we had the most wonderful holiday in Dubrovnik in June 2014, made so much more special by the staff in this lovely hotel!! Clean rooms, very good food & good location near small beach & short bus ride into City (get weekly bus ticket if you like looking around!). All of these were first class, but what made a 5 star stay were wonderful people employed there, from the maid to the manager, the bar & restaurant team, all were so friendly, helpful, & genuinely a credit to their contry & hotel!!
Thank yo all for a fabulous time, we have already recommended to many friends & we will be back!!, The Two Janes xxx
