The hotel is good, I am very happy with the location as there were several options on the table beforehand. It is definitely the more quiet, calm side of town and really close to the old town. We were in a deluxe double with balcony in the tower (not Villa Odak). I prefer the tower over Odak. The room is okay - not as spacious as any of the pictures will try to convince you. The shower is appalling - it is a hand shower with nothing to hold it in place over your head . There is no thermostat on the shower, so the temperature will swing between hot and cold all the time. The hotel wins on location in terms of the ones I was considering.

An exceptional hotel in what couldn’t be a more beautiful location. And still, one of my favourite places In the world. The hotel excelsior in my opinion is flawless.

Good location and beach. Unfortunately the food was bad and I got food poisoned, which is not ok at a hotel that is supposed to be a four star hotel. The staff did not even apologise that i got sick by their food. Really bad. Good class hotels would not manage it this way! Warn you to go there.

Amazing facilities, staff and location. While we were in the spa/swimming area we went outside and were able to wave down a glass bottom boat and the took us for a free ride! Such a beautiful place with the kindest people!

Nice view of sea and old city. I love it. Kind service. I requested a bunch of pink roses for my wife for her surprising event. Everything went well. My wife also loved this hotel and all services. Nice and various breakfast with see view. The distance btw old city is short. It takes about 10minutes on foot. And nice amenities that women should satisfy. I strongly recommend this hotel for romantic travel in Dubrovnik.

First class . A 4 day break for my 50th that was made very special by staying at this first class hotel. Highly recommend to others for facilities and location. 10 minute walk to the gate of the old town.

Wonderful Hotel with stunning views of Dubrovnik old town, modern and stylish interior, direct access to the ocean, geeat SPA area and breakfast! The staff - especially at the reception - is very helpful and polite!

This is a very upmarket hotel by the sea with an enviable view of Dubrovnik from its terraces. Nice buffet breakfast and polite staff. Rooms are good. Indoor pool and outdoor swimming.

Excellent hotel with a lovely staff who are all too happy to help. The terrace bar has amazing views and the drinks are very well made.

With direct sea access just off an indoor pool and spa is a great addition. Breakfast was also fab with bubbles as you like.
