Generic fast food at the airport. It sits right by McDonald's and other fast food outlets, which helps if you're trying to make a decision across brands, but either way it's not something I'll personally try before leaving the airport - there's good HK food on the other side of the food hall, and they do equally good takeaways.
I first tried Popeyes chicken & biscuits in Singapore & after that I've been looking for its taste. That's why when I saw it again here in Hong Kong, I grabbed again the opportunity to enjoy these great food again.
Fast and affordable. Perfect if you are travelling alone and want something basic.
A decent attempt at the Popeye's we all know and love back home. But what's up with the meal deal that has both fries AND mashed potatos? Nor will they let you substitute another side instead. You get the usual "Cannot" if you ask.
Waited in line for 10 minutes, food was cold and bland, half the drinks not available and service mediocre. Go to McDonald's next door.
Favorite restaurant. Haven't been there in years, and when I went as soon as they opened at 6.30am, it was so worth the wait and it tasted amazing. The food, service was all decent and fresh, especially with the workers working hard with the large volume of customers (its so crowded!!) Just perfect. Literally made my whole day. Such a shame there wasn't any branches in actual Hong Kong.

Craving satisfied! Perfectly cooked burger and fries. Affordable on-the-go meal.
I actually liked the chicken tenders that I ordered. Usually(in anywhere in the world), the breast part tends to be dry but the one I had was really moist and juicy. I also had the fries (which was okay) and the coleslaw (which was quite good to balance the oils from the fried food).
Pretty grim, dry chicken. Ordered spicy but wasnt. Fries were ok
So dry, completely wasted my time and 82HK, no wonder so less people waiting in line. Comparing the McDonald's next door, I am telling u, it's worth to wait for real junk food, not like this.
Always wanted to try Popeye's and this particular store provided the worst anticlimax to the hype. Eventhough the service was quick the fries were cold and the bread cakey and dense. The fries were nicely seasoned but cold as well. The wings were crunchy but not very flavourful. The biscuit was nice and flakey but we're a bit over salted and not buttery enough.
Best (and only) Popeyes in HKG airport. Says Popeye's but isn't really spicy if you're wondering if it tastes like US Popeye's so yeah, I'm saving you that trouble. 😀
If you are expecting the Popeye's you are used to in The States then this is not the place. The fries where flavourless, no hot sauce, they only had ketchup or honey for dipping my chicken strips and all my food was served cold. It was "OK" but definitely not like anything you would be served if you were in Louisiana.
I ate here because, first, it is has a HALAL certification. Second, it is supposed to serve a Lousiana chicken. But, the chicken is not as I expected. Hey, where is the spices?.. The fried chickens were quite oily And, please guys.. SMILE.. SMILE.. it wont hurt..! Overall, it was Okay
Although the only Popeye's in Hong Kong, it's excellent and a must eat before flying. Very tasty chicken. Just wish there were more of them in HK.
Disappointing from the Popeye's we all know and love back home. Where's the red beans and rice?!? And what's up with the meal deal that has both fries AND mashed pototoes? Nor will they let you substitute another side instead. You get the usual "Cannot" if you ask.
I arrived at the airport quite late and had dinner here while waiting for a connecting flight. The chicken seems to have been cooked a while ago. It was only warm because it was under a heat lamp and it was a bit tough. There are better options for dinner if you're at this airport.
YUMMMMYYYY, I am from India and every time I fly to the US, I go via Hong Kong and this is my go to place for their signature fries and chicken burger after a long flight. Really like it.
