Building a bit old and downstairs have too many tourist but prime location if you are looking for luxury brands shopping
Didn't give the room I booked, not trustworthy, and the soundproof and service are very bad. The room is old and smelly. It’s a very distrusted hotel.
We went to the Michelin starred restaurant Ye Shanghai. The food is really delicious and service is good. However the tables are a bit tight and they cannot give us a booth even when we requested it at time of reservation.
Completely lost touch!
Arrived at hotel at 1am on Sunday morning on a late flight.
Despite getting an upgrade to a sea view room on executive, the room looks like it’s not been refurbished since 1980’s.
It took 1/2 hour for our bags to arrive from bell boy who told me the problem was that he was not informed which room we were in. Incredible!
And to top things off, the air conditioning / thermostat seems broken as the the temperature in the room was freezing despite setting to highest temperature of 25 degrees.
What happened!?
I had a wonderful time here. Aside from the very attentive staff the place itself is nice its near train stations parks and shops. This hotel has very fast stable wi-fi connection.
Spacious room and great service from staff but really disappointed with check-in time as we have to wait for few hours before our room is ready(5 pm)
Over crowded in a very busy tourist district, Friendly service at the hotel and nice view
This hotel located in tsim sha shui (most ppl call it TST ) ,nice place and i love the carpark they have is connected with local carpark so you can avoid the extra charges if you have a car in hk as its bit expensive, however its nice place to eat with family ,have some business meeting and make deal with clients or what so ever, luxury desgin and classic ,worth to visit it
One of the two Marco Polo hotels in TST. This one has a pool and is located at the end if Harbour Plaza shopping mall. There are several nice restaurants in the area. The little bar in the ground floor is really tiny and only good for a night cap. It's a hotel that can be used as a gateway for the weekend or longer but it is relatively expensive.
We love this place, the staff , location and food is excellent. We are here as a birthday treat and they even gave me a wonderful cake to help celebrate.
Macro Polo Hotel located at the PRIME location of Tsim Sha Tsui, right above Harbour City, extremely convenient location. 2 minutes walk to Star Ferry Pier, 4 minutes walk to the closest MTR station. And the hotel close to large shopping malls like iSquare and K-11. Rooms are really clean and tidy.
The buffet at Cucina is quite good. A good selection of meats and cheeses, salads, and seafood. The barramundi main course was done really well. A great dessert selection as well, especially if you like Movenpick ice cream. Service was really good as well.
People there is very helpful and friendly. I went there to get trans portation to the airport, because my hotel didn't provide the service.
I ordered drinks here. They were a bit pricey, but service was good and the drinks were decent.
The hotel is nice and room spacious. Location great and room very clean.
nice rooms, affordable, accessible for business and leisure
It's location is very convenientclose to star ferry station, shopping mall and metro rail. Wonderful walking/jogging area where you can catch up on public art displays, street food and lots of shopping options.
Ate at Nishimura restaurant and it was wonderful. The hotel had a strange smell likely due to the construction outside but it was nice and clean otherwise. The hotel and restaurant has a nice view of the harbor.
Very slow checkin. Hotel is very good and clean, but room could be renovated considering the prices. Extremely well located in pretty harbour, close to fancy stores and malls.
Place is getting old and tired. No longer worth the price. Horrible views unless you get a room overlooking the water.
Also they are current rennovating so there is scaffolding outside some rooms.
Beautiful hotel. On the pricy side , but right on Canton road and next to Star ferry terminal. They have a great chinese up market restaurant called Ye Shanghai.
Extremely slow check in. They should send their staff for a typing course. Watching someone type with two fingers is most irritating
Then told that my room is not available yet - and I can leave my luggage and check back later. NOTE: It is 8:30PM in the evening - and the room is not available. I was not happy.
The clerk then backed off and a more efficient clerk took over. He offered me an UPGRADE to a Deluxe Suite - but did mention that the room faced the street and there was construction. I asked if I could still look out - he says you could probably. Well we get to the room and all the windows are pasted shut with sheets of paper - so an upgraded room with no View.
No porter assistance at all when you depart. We were lucky they held the door when we arrived. A total waste of money. It is interesting that the Manager cuts and pastes his same response to the "Good ratings" - while totally ignoring the real issues. So much for improving customer service when you don't want to face your issues.
A real waste of good dollars.
