It is the 2nd highest peak in Hong Kong. From Pak Kung Au, the climb is approximately 2 hours upto the peak. But it is not advisable to go there when it is raining or when the temperature is low because you can't see anything, it is so foggy. Upon going home, it's either you go back to where you start climbing up or you can go the other way down to Big Budhha or the other way around.
Beautiful views, worth the steep hike.
Very good view up there. Worth to go.
Superb view!
!!! The pin is at the wrong place! Personally the best hike of Hong Kong. I admit it’s difficult (you have to be kind of sporty) but manageable! It’s very rewarding though, and the landscape is beautiful! Don’t forget to take water though! I advice to some research on how to do the hike efficiently (google)
Took cable car up and started from the wisdom path. It was up slope all the way and it really do requires some training before you try this. Pack light but bring jacket/long pants as it got quite cold up there. Took 1.5 hours up and the view was decent albeit the misty view.
This pin is in the wrong place! Look for Fung Wong Shan for the correct location on Google Maps.
As a nature lover, its a great experience yo reach the lantau peak due to its challenging and breathtaking views..
