Amazing location - slept over the water in an overwater thatched roof room. Restaurant prices high for Guatemala - but tasty and well proportioned.

A tip: keep your suitcases zipped if in the open room locationless cockroaches going home with you (it's completely clean, but open concept so they can't be kept out).

Very nice place, the bungalows are amazing, very stylish and cool. You totally have a jungle experience, but a very clean one. The staff is very nice, but doesn't know English. The bar and restaurant are great and you can spend there hours playing games.
The Wi-Fi is pretty weak

More of a "nature" hotel, air conditioner only in certain rooms and I didn't like that there is no door in the restroom at the room. Loved the food, great view, good price and good rest.

Food is delicious, rooms are charming but not super clean. Staff is courteous but not friendly. My family and I ended up getting many bites either from fleas.or bed bugs!!!

Really enjoyed our stay here. We had a room with private bath. We had the room over the communal bathrooms but couldn't hear anything except people talking outside occasionally. The room was very unique and had a private balcony which we enjoyed at night, sitting with the local kitty that visited every night. Loved sitting in the restaurant overlooking the lake every morning. Food was good and free morning coffee was great. We normally walked to town, but at night it was nice to be able to call the hotel from town and have them come pick us up (we did have to pay for this service.) Would love to stay here again!

A really nice open air room in a nice setting with a good restaurant. Price seems to be in line with like properties around. The only reason I'm not giving them 5 stars is that for some reason they did not service our room.
The only way to get there is by boat which for the most part is free or a small fee depends on the hours. We actually found a walking path to town but not a straight forward walk. The food in the restaurant was good.

We have kept our boat here for the last four years. They take great care of the boat. We come back after the summer and the boat is cleaner than when we left. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is eco style, very clean and comfortable. The restaurant has a good menu and reasonable.
