  A must go to get in touch with Guatemala nature. Placed on Rio Dulce river, Finca Tijax has small independent rooms in a lagoon of the river. Chance to have horse riding around (recommended). Good cocktails. Boat taxi to the pier if you are arriving from Livingstone.

  Es el único lugar que tiene un mirador para apreciar todo el área de río dulce parte de él Golfete y el Lago de izabal.

  Our favourite place to stay on the Rio Dulce. It offers a variety of accommodation for all budgets, has a nice little pool, a great location from which to explore the river and Livingston, and with one of the best local guides I know - just ask for Lucy!

  Nice jungle lodges.
  
  Rooms are basic but good. We had aircon and private bathroom.
  
  Food OK.
