Great view of the volcanos during the day and great at night when they erupt 🌋🌋. The food here is always good and reasonably priced. We had a great time here on New Year's Eve but the only thing that let it down was the people behind the bar put far too much ice in our drinks 😔. Apart from that a very friendly atmosphere and the drinks are a good price too 😊☺.

The rooms were small, hot and sticky, but cheap. The best part about this place was the bar on the roof with views across town and when clear great views of volcanos, one of which is constantly erupting. I wouldnt bother staying at this place again, we found better options close by, but the rooftop bar is definitely worth a visit both night and day.

Its a hostel.

Out private room #4 was smelly, had 0 Windows and the wifi signal is bad. (Rest of the place had better signal.)

If you stay here, avoid #4.

Nice roofbar with friendly Staff, average food and drinks.

Staff is very friendly. Room is pretty basic. They offer tours, no kitchen. Breakfast included. The roof top is the reason to come as the view is stunning.

Really good audio system, good staff, chill seats Nice evening there!
They just should accept card! If someone wants drink a lot, make a tab and pay in the end..

Stayed here six nights and loved it! The staff are so helpful and friendly and will help you organize any activities in Antigua. There's a rooftop restaurant with incredible views of the volcanos. Breakfast is included although it's basic. Terrace is a lovely place to base yourself while visiting Antigua.

Really nice hostel, very friendly, and very helpful staff!! The terrace is nice to hang out at - though a bit hot during mid day. And the view is perfect. The breakfast is all right, and varies from day to day and
the big market is just 100 meters away.
There are just two downsides. 1. No kitchen for cooking, 2. The beds definitely needed an upgrade and there weren't enough power points in the dorm.
Still very recommendable though, I had a good stay.

I'm 62 and this was my first hostel experience and I'm so glad it was at Terrace. Maggie and El Negro are great hosts and the rest of the staff makes you feel like family. Plus, even if you're a nondrinker like me the terrace bar is wonderful.
