  Bigfoot has some of the kindest staff, very accommodating, helpful, and quick to give advice. The rooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and lounge area are very clean and safe. All the rooms open up to the courtyard, so if you're not interested in partying or staying up late, it may not be the best place to stay - loud music is played until late.

  Having a great time in a chill party hostel
  Had an awesome Caesar salad so delicious fulfill the need for greens.
  Staff and volunteers are amazing.
  Clean and wonderful comfortable beds all over I love it.

  If you like the idea of sleeping in a bar, with music blaring that starts at 11am, this is the place for you. I was stupid and booked a bunch of nights here cause I thought it seemed quiet during the day (I was there at 1030 am when I booked, just before the music started) and I liked that there was a kitchen; but I got super sick a couple days in and needed somewhere quiet to go so I could actually SLEEP. The staff were totally not understanding at all and the amount of money I lost to this place is probably my biggest travel regret yet. Lesson learned. I would not recommend sleeping here.

  Do not book any travel tickets through Bigfoot. I booked a trip from Antigua through Guatemala City and into Rio Dulce. Every time I went there and talked to someone at the front desk they told me different stories. First they told me it was a direct ticket no transfers. Then I went back to buy my ticket they told me there would be a quick transfer in Guatemala City and you will hop on a bus direct to Rio Dulce taking at most 6 hours.
  
  Instead they dropped me off at the Guatemala bus station and handed me an envelope with money in it to buy a ticket to Rio Dulce. I ended up having to sit in Guatemala City bus station for an hour waiting for a bus. It was also very hard buying a ticket knowing no Spanish.
  
  They claimed from Guatemala City it would be a direct bus with no stops. That was a complete lie we made several stops in the complete opposite direction of Rio Dulce. What they claimed to be a 5 hour trip took 10 hours.
  
  Bigfoot will tell you whatever they want to make quick money on a ticket. Do not book with them.

  Bigfoot is one of the top rated hostels and for good reason. It's got everything you could ask for in a hostel with nice clean and comfortable rooms, a bar/restaurant, beerpong and salsa nights, pool and ping-pong tables, but most importantly easily the nicest staff of anywhere I've stayed. Seriously. I have spent 10 nights here total, in the private and dorm rooms and both are great. If you want not just a place to stay but a place that will make your time in Antigua even better, stop looking and start booking before it's too late.

  Highly recommend if you are looking to meet new people. Staff is extremely welcoming and friendly. They all speak English if your Spanish is lacking. Stayed in a private room which was exceptional. Food is delicious too!

  This is a nice place. A dorm for 5 dollars a night. Michael is a receptionist who is a really good and service minded guy. He was the one that made me come back for an extra night.

  This is a great place for those who looking to party and meet new people. The staff at the desk are smiling and helpful, and nothing g you ask of them is too much. Private rooms on the top floor have stunning views of the volcanoes. Also there is availablility to reserve an excellent shuttle service. If you are still there on a Sunday there is great opportunities to take part in fun activities

  Didn't stay at the hostel but booked a shuttle from Antigua to Lanquin online. No hassle, very easy, trip took about 10 hrs with two stops and a bizarre hour around Antigua at the start that seemed very unnecessary. We ate lunch at 3pm at the shuttle companies affiliated hotel in Coban, over priced and unflavored.
