We were there at Easter and things were very busy. The hotel itself is nice but there was a restaurant/ bar that was open very late with live music. Be aware that you won’t get any sleep. Hard since we had a 6:00 am tour the next morning. We were hoping to go to bed early sleep till 3:0O and get up to witness the processions but that wasn’t possible.

Terrible experience! This hotel refuses to refund 5 days if PREPAID reservation money after not having availability upon our arrival! Do not give them your business, they take advantage of tourist and steal their money. They don't deserve to be in the hotel industry. I don't wish this to happen to anyone else!

Terrible experience! After making a PREPAID 5 day reservation and receiving a confirmation we arrived to be told they did not have availability for us. To make matters worse they refused to refund our money. Do not give this hotel your business, they don't deserve it, they are dishonest and steal money from tourist/ guest. I hope this does not happen to anyone else!

My wife and I stayed there for 10 days in February 2017. Like all the hotels in old Antigua, it looks small and plain from the street, but inside opens up into rustic, spacious charm. It was just right for our needs and breakfast always provided.

Just loved it. Lovely rooms, great staff, tasty breakfast and a nice terrace overlooking the city and the volcano. Cannot recommend it more. Great value for money!
