The rooms are very pretty with hot water, the staff is very nice and helpful, and the location is quite convenient near the Merced church. But my room was on the street with a nice bright window and not soundproofing therefore extremely noisy because of the cars. Antigua is at high altitude and quite cold, it was very cold in the room even with the extra blankets.

Look no further!!! This nice small, clean, and very central located hotel is all you need to have a great stay in Antigua.
We, two couples, stayed there last week, and we had a great time. It is literally steps from La Merced, and EL Arco.
It is super good price, and they even have free coffee amd sweet local bread waiting for every guest in the mornings.
I really recommend this hotel. It is super clean and safe--though not luxurious. After all, who needs luxury if the entire city is a gem!
I have stayed there back in 2005, and would stay here again if I come back. Definitely worth time and money!

I had a van arrangements made with them to pick me up from the airport, beds very comfortable, rooks are basic but the views from the roof are to die for, make sure you get up before sunrise,

Clean rooms, very hot showers. Front staff speak English. Very lovely roof-top garden with seating. Complimentary sweet bread and good coffee each morning. Nice reading room for relaxing. WiFi Internet is spotty.

Good location, right next to Inglesia y Convento de Nuestra Senora de La Merced. Friedly stuff, good and free WIFI. Nice roof terrace with lovely landscape.
