Chill hostel with clean rooms and a decent kitchen with loads of utensils to use. The roof spot is a nice spot to chill in the hammocks and they also have a bar up there too.
The location is about a 10 minute walk out of the centre of Antigua. Staff can also help with coach bookings and anything about Antigua too!response / report this review -

This is a really nice chilled out hostel in Antigua. There is not much of a social scene here, but that is ok. The rooms are nice for a really good rate. The staff are friendly and helpful. The Rooftop terrace provides amazing views of the volcanos and Antigua, especially at night time if Vulcan Fuego is erupting. I will for sure stay here again.

I really like this hostel.
The two private rooms I've stayed in were very clean and reasonably priced.
The staff were helpful. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and knives.
What really stood out for me though was the hangout spaces.
Dining table, tv lounge, dining/social table upstairs, two small hangout spots, and best of all the rooftop patio with a small bar, two picnic tables, and two hammock.
Great view or Mt. Fuego from the rooftop.
Not a party hostel if you're looking for quiet.

Love this place, my home in Antigua. The atmosphere is great, the kitchen is awesome to have and the dorms are super affordable. The bartender is an awesome dude, definitely go up and chat with him when the bar is open. The location is pretty far from the tourist centre - good or bad depending on your view. I thought it was nice being a little away from the main tourist spots. A couple downsides were lukewarm showers at best (maybe I just don't know how to work the showers), and it would be nice to have full sized lockers in the dorm rooms. If you're looking for a great place to call home, this is it. Would definitely recommend.

Typically quiet hostel a bit outside of the central park. Has a shared kitchen for preparing meals, including a refrigerator, stove, and microwave. Active water heater for warm showers. Well cleaned rooms. Very helpful front desk staff. Nice view from the rooftop. There is a bar on the roof, however I have seldom seen it open. This hostel is a slight distance from the main part of town, but I have never felt unsafe traveling back late at night. They offered private and dorm rooms.

Like other reviews said it's a great quiet low key place to stay in Antigua. Hot showers, kitchen, tv room and helpful front desk staff. Bar on the roof with hammocks and great views. Overall great place to stay.

Nice place for a night, had the dorm room almost to myself. A bit out of the main town so I didnt feel comfortable walking back alone at night. Was a bit confused by the conflicting price in my lonely planet book, my dorm bed was 75q.

I have booked travel through Villa Esthela and the offer outstanding service. I had to change my booking last minute and they did it free of charge. I have use their services multiple times. Once, there was a miscommunication with the tour company and they resolved it immediately. Their hostel is clean and tranquil. He reservado servicios de viaje muchos veces con ellos. Tiene buen servicios de cliente y un ambiente tranquilo.

Wonderful place. Rooms are nice. Great rooftop with Hammocks and a view of the volcanoes. Kitchen area, free wifi, hot showers. Close walking distance to everything including a lovely bakery a block up. Ps The owner took very good care of me when I got sick while staying in Antigua ☺
