Very basic hostel: rooms aren't the cleanest, we didn't have warm water in the shower and the place is very noisy. Rooms all have 'windows' to the central area of the hotel that can't be closed, so you hear everything, from people watching TV to people coming or going in the middle of the night. It's quite cheap though and has a good location.

Loved it. Great location and staff is wonderful. Funny story I saw a dog swim across the lake when on the back porch it was hilarious. You can rent a kayak around the corner and cruise the beautiful lake. I love this cozy island!

The location of Posada de Don José is great, located in a quiet end of Isla Flores, right on the waterfront. The private double room I was placed in was comfy enough, however the bathroom was uncomfortably cramped for anyone taller than average. The staff is nice. Wifi is a little weak in the rooms, but strong in the common areas.

Good location, friendly staff. Good seating area at the back of the building overlooking the lake. Wifi worked well. Our only complaint was the lack of hot water in the room. There was an electric hot water heater but it wouldn't work no matter what we tried.

Limpio, tranquilo y con una bella vista al lago. Económico, pero tiene todos los servicios básicos: A/C, TV, WiFi, etc. Staff muy amable que puede coordinar el transporte a Tikal.
