We didn't stay at the hotel but came by for drinks. They offer affordable drinks with tasty tequila and free use of the games tables. We played Ping Pong but there was also pool and a nice deck with an incredible view. From what we saw the hotel looked clean and stylish! This is a waterfront hotel.

The location is very nice. It's located right next to a hostel with lively night life. The small beach is good for suntanning but not for swimming unless you don't mind walking across about ten feet of fist sized slippery rocks. It is however possible to go through a gate to the hostel next door and use their dock. Careful, there were some exposed nails on the dock and the bottom step of the ladder may be hard to reach when you are trying to get out of the water.
I did not turn the food since there was such a great selection of restaurants in San Marcos.
The rooms were very nice and modern.
This hotel is not wheel chair accessible. If you have suitcases be prepared to either carry them or drag them through the dirt.
This hotel is still partially under construction.

Lots of options to eat and places to sit while eating. If you are with a big group or there are many costumers they might take a long time to serve, but that's okay, you feel you have a lot of time while chilin' out enjoying some amazing views. There are some big dishes, so maybe you would like to share. The prices are good.

Big rooms, great beds, awesome view, friendly staff. While it is substantially more expensive than lots of other places , that doesn't mean it's exorbitant. If you came to relax, this is a great place to do it

The Dragon Hotel and Restaurant has been under construction for a couple of years along the shores of Lake Atitlan.
Great Bar area with views from the top terrace of Lake Atitlan. That is where the fun stops.
We found the prices for rooms, food and Gallo Beer way out of line with other Bars and Restaurants in San Marcos in fact all of Lake Atitlan. The same can be found for the room prices. We wish them luck, service needs to changes as well.

Very high end and pretty expensive (for Guatemala). But if your looking for somewhere to stay very comfortable lakeside this is your place. Also pretty newly renovated.
