Fun Italian/clown themed bar in Panajachel! Very cool vibe in here. No riff raff! Got some pasta with meat sauce, and it was exactly what I was looking for after a long day boating and exploring lake Atitlan. I got a pina colada here and it was super delicious! Kinda pricey. But you get extra quality. Tip: Make a reservation here for dinner. They get crowded. And we got lucky just waking in.

While its not easy to describe Circus Bar, I would call it the best cozy, spirited, restaurant in Panajachel. Do go for excellent pizzas for lunch and spend time for dinner as well since the atmosphere is very different and gets really exciting. Bar is really good as well

We tried pizza and onion soup and we enjoyed very much. On Fridays they have live music, not sure the rest of the days. I liked a lot the atmosphere of the place. Btw, there is a dog in the picture but that's normal in panajachel and actually adds up to the whole experience

Got charged $11.00 to add a topping. My bill $48.00 for one pizza and two glasses of wine. The worst rip off ever. Feels like i got pick pocketed.

Impressive menu and very good service. They have great salads and pasta as well as a full bar and live entertainment a lot of evenings. Great atmosphere and family friendly.

Funky spot in Pana. I love the live music and old school vibe. Gypsy Jazz and troubadour style Latin guitar and musicians. The pizza is top notch for Guatemalan standards, but pretty subpar for what I'm used to in California and Chicago. But hey, even mediocre pizza is great with a beer and live music in a unique timeless setting. It's not a fancy place, it's a funky place with character and lots of patrons with great stories. Believe that. This is a gem. Old photos of Spanish and French gypsies on the wall from the 30's-60's and vintage German circus posters. The bar has interesting knick knacks hanging from above. Food gets 2.5 stars. Experience and ambiance gets 5 stars. I would eat somewhere else first then come here for drinks and music, but frankly I have not found anywhere to eat in Panajachel that doesn't suck. Recommendations anyone?

Walked in alone, walked out with 3 friends, a full belly and musically satisfied.

Although the prices were high for Guatemala, the atmosphere was well worth it. The service was great and always on point without being pushy. The food was plentiful and tasty.

The music really is the experience here. It starts around 7/8 and there's a couple classical guitars with drums and the guys are nicely skilled.

Sit at the bar, and let this place take you away on a Guatemalan cultural tour!

The best pizzas in Guatemala! Very good music almost all the nights, a big variety of food (recently produced or imported from Italy), it is not expensive, and the staff is very friendly. Careful on Saturdays nights, you may not find where to sit; Circus Bar is victim of its success.
