Feels like home, every time I walk down the calle and smell that heavenly aroma, walk through the door, and taste the black gold Great location for networking, making friends, having meaningful conversation. Fostered intentional connection. Incredible staff and EXCELLENT QUALITY COFFEE!

High choice of coffee, iced or regular. Good, organic, traditional. Place of expats and locals. To see in your trip

The best coffee shop in Central America, the owner Mike is a coffee encyclopedia. Great atmosphere. Great coffee, roasted on site. Great pastries too !!

Mike and his wife are the loveliest people, my friends and I enjoyed the BEST coffee, cinnamon rolls and carrot cake we've ever had this morning before leaving for San Pedro. What was meant to be a quick stop ended up being a 2 hour stay chatting to mike, his wife and a couple of regulars. 100% a must do when in pana. We will be making sure we stop by on our way back through.

Amazing blueberries pie, home made and fresh. I'm staying 30 seconds away from the Crossroads Cafe and wanted a treat; kind of a monthly ritual on the weekend. It reminded me of a home made cake my grandma tided to make. Today I'm going to try their coffee.

We stopped in for a cup and left inspired. Mike is a legend, so generous, with a great sense of humour and his life story is incredible. From the moment you walk in the door you feel like family, and you leave having made a new friend and with a better understanding of the coffee making process.
The coffee & cake is excellent, go for the stronger brew with coffee bee honey. Both cheese cake and carrot cake were devine.
A definite must visit if in Pana. We hope to be back one day!

Amazing coffee, snacks, and Mike is THE kindest person ever. So so warm and friendly- showed us the back room where he roasts the coffee and helped us find a good doctor nearby (and even treated us to the coffee!!). You will not find a better man on this planet. We would go back in a heartbeat. Thank you so much Mike for your kindness and hospitality!

Potentially best coffee and hospitality in Guatemala. Mike is a whirlwind of fun and makes you feel like family. You will surely be missing out if you don't find yourself sipping coffee here!

AWESOME place! love the owner. He is hilarious and well humored! The coffee is superb and the blueberry pie is to die for! :) I am sure the entire menu is great for a hot or cold drink. But the company is the best!

Crossroads is a great coffee shops, offering great coffee and sweet treats. But what makes it more than just a regular coffee shop is Mike and his wife, Mike is an excellent man with a lot of passion for life and coffee. He roasts his own coffee in his coffee shop and does this in conjunction with serving and making coffee. He has a lot of energy, we guessed this might be from the amount of coffee he must smell and drink in a day aha. Mike is a storyteller and his coffee shop although a tad bit hard to find, you will. Thank you for the great coffee and the great stories.

Best place for coffee in Panajachel. I love the atmosphere, the coffee and the music. It's a great place to be and Michael is one of the best baristas I've ever met!

I came for amazing coffee -- and the coffee is amazing and roasted on site by the owner -- but seriously came away with a great memory of my trip. I am a newbie coffee enthusiast (having recently purchased my own espresso machine) and was traveling with my mom and sister. Mike was so much fun to talk to - very interested in us, and our trip, and I was very interested in his coffee shop. He stayed almost an hour past closing to talk to us; I felt I made a new friend. I intended to just buy a pound of coffee, but bought five pounds because I was so impressed with the quality of the coffee. It seemed way better than what I'm used to either from the chic local roaster or Whole Foods. Also, the prices seemed low compared to similar places I have seen in Lake Atitlan and Antigua, and what's more, Mike offered to take dollars at 7.4, the bank rate, when most places offer only 7 or even 6 for dollars. In short, Mike is an amazing coffee enthusiast with fantastic coffee, a super chill and interesting personality, and very honest with good prices. He's there for love of coffee and Guatemala, and it shows!

Also, I had the last slice of the blueberry pie. I mentioned this at my hotel that that night, and the owners told us that they always buy their coffee from Mike, and that the pastries are made by Mike's wife, and the blueberry pie is their favorite!

    Best Cup of Coffee

When it comes to coffee, in our not so humble opinion, there is nothing better than Guatemalan coffee. I think that is why when faced with the decision of choosing just one coffee shop for the title of ‘Best Cup of Coffee’ it was simply impossible. In the village of Panjachel there are two coffee shops that serve an incredible cup of java. The first is Crossroads Café a popular hangout that serves exceptional freshly roasted coffee. The owner, Mike, is friendly, full of charisma and character, and always willing to impart his knowledge of coffee.
