Lovely staff, certainly not pretentious but some areas of quaintness eg no face cloth supplied, unable to book meals, drinks etc to room bill. A great place to use as a Base while exploring Fiji.

Honest establishment. Doesn't try to be what it's not. Good size meals and generous drinks. Nice location over the water to see sunset.

The toilets near the reception area were stinking. A construction was going on during our visit in December, which started early in the morning. It was impossible to sleep after 6 am. The food was very basic and overpriced. The rooms were nothing like the pictures on the website. The bathroom was in a very bad shape, tiles were broken in the bathroom. There was no water pressure. The mattress was extremely bad.

For a cheaper backpackers place, smugglers Cove holds up alright, the facilities are nice on the outside with a bar, deck chairs and a pool and hammocks to all use in the outside area. Inside however in the dorms, the bathrooms are a big on the small side, the mattresses are a bit hard and the furniture a bit outdated.

However for a few nights on a stopover in nandi to go to the islands or before a trip home, smugglers Cove may do the trick as a low cost and cheerful backpackers resort.

Located on Sea beach !! Good place to stay !! Food is very good !! Ambience is perfect in morning and after sunset !! In night u may enjoy walking with ur family or friends!! About hotel room its good and cost is above average!! There is special local Fiji dance pgm in evening !! Wifi is not free at room !! In common area it’s free!! Complimentary break fast is bad !!

Asked numerous times for towels, having hour waits. The first meal I ordered was a burger which was just slightly cooled mince and incredibly unsanitary. While some staff members were very welcoming, the bad outweighed the good leading to a overall horrible experience. I would recommend looking into, Aquarius on the Beach if you need to be in that area.

Very helpful staff. Nice, clean rooms near the beach. Superb kitchen with a tasty menu and again, very hospitable staff. Nice bar and outside seating with nightly festivities. I'm happy I chose to stay here on my visit to Fiji. They also helped me book surf trips where they pick you up in the morning from the front door and drop you back after an awesome day on the water!

Love this placethis was a return visit. Fabulous staff, nice rooms for excellent value. Excellent restaurant & bar on site. Smal, uncrowded pool. Lots of activities. Best sunset viewamazing, low key the way Fiji should be.

Booking was done by the travel agency and included in a package to visit the smaller Fiji islands. I cannot recommend it for more than one night. Bathrooms quite old. Not the cleanest ones too. Beach is not that pretty, and there is not too much around the place to see or go. At least air con works and we got some sleep. Breakfast took ages to get and wasn't too good either. For our last night we changed booking. Compare prices first before you book and if you wish a bit of a higher standard look around for other places.

Amazing experience. Would definitely go again. It's ideal for single people and newly Weds. Not ideal place with children.

Really nice and cheap hotel/hostel with many daily activities! A good starting point for Fiji The only weakness is the check in/check out where the things work more manually and with some delays! Other than that lovely staff, and probably some of my best moments in Fiji, while I lived there for a month!

Good chefs, good meal with five stars! But unfortunately, the service is only worthy of 1 or zero, the attitude of that waitress is so disappointed. They just looked like totally cannot understand what I am saying and kind of indifferently about customers. Btw, don't expect the waitress will look at you when you have order, I have no idea what they focused on.

Great if you are travelling on a budget. Food is always nice. Nice views. Bathrooms need a minor makeover and hotwater is solar powered.

This place is proudly the best for the money. Cheap, cheerful and had a beach. Rooms are ok if not stunningly clean. Food is ok. Breakfast is a bit thin. Everyone is cheerful.

Fantastic location, on the sands with an easy beach with shallow water and small waves. Sweet and gracious staff, comfortable dorms, quality meals, all round a great stop.

The facilities are wonderful for the pricethis assume you can checkin because they havent lost your reservation and then other no customer service to rectify it. I want to say im just being jaded but i found 9 other people it had happened to.Smugglers sort out your systems and train your staff on customer service. Learn from the Islanders they are lovely

Came for dinner with workmates and u must say the meals are worth every dollar. They're huge to cater for the local appetite, fresh, tasty and the deck dining setting is awesome. Would recommend for locals for the occasional dinner outing with mates.

I only had dinner there, so I can't say much about accommodation. The meal was super enjoyable as they always have something going on. That night they had Fijians giving out and explaining the Kava ritual.
    Prices were ok for Fiji.

Right on the beach, perfect place to get out of the sun and have a few drinks. Staff are friendly but it is a tourist business so it's a little expensive given how cheap the rest of Fiji is, and they do try to sell to you a little bit but it's still a fantastic place.

This is a great place. It's not five star and they don't claim it to be. Great place to stay, good food and excellent staff.
